We Reminisce: Kobe vs. Antawn Jamison shootout, 51 points apiece
Talk about heading in different directions. When the Lakers and Warriors met on Dec. 6, 2000, Golden State was in the midst of a 17-win season, while L.A. was headed toward their second straight championship. On this night, Antawn Jamison dropped 51 points (21-for-29 FG’s, 7-for-8 FT’s) and 13 rebounds, while Kobe Bryant had 51 points (18-for-35 FG’s, 13-for-13 FT’s) and eight assists. Check for cameo appearances by Chris Porter, Mookie Blaylock, Vonteego Cummings, Mark Madsen and a relatively quiet Shaq, who “only” had 25 points and 10 boards. The Warriors went on to win the game, which isn’t shown on the clip, most likely because it’s posted by someone named “LakersRule24.”

As long as it’s within the context of the team, there’s nothing better than watching a duel between scoring giants.

For the integrity of the game, at least show the freaking end.
