“We Want Steph!”
Steph (photo. Chad Griffith)The Knicks fans haven’t desisted in their chanting for Stephon Marbury, who still hasn’t seen a second of burn tonight. He’s the last man on the bench in uniform, sitting next to Jerome James.
But it doesn’t look like Mike D’Antoni is ready to cave. Even if Steph stands in on the team huddles during halftime, his body language is terrible. He’s the only one on the Knicks bench who hasn’t stood up to clap when the rest of the bench has been on their feet.
Would you give Steph some PT right now if you’re D’Antoni?

Let him sit and think about the ominous fate of Steve & Barry’s.

20 plus mill just to sit on the bench. If Steph dose not get any pt. He’s going to start being a distraction.

Kobeef says:
No way. This team has a lot of good, young players who bring a better attitude and effort than steph. Nate had a nice game tonight. Jamal was awesome and so was..Zach..there, said it.

steph can go home fuck him.

If people in NY are chanting “WE WANT STEPH” then they were lacing the drinks in the arena with rat poison mixed with powered gecko feces…cause the place was high as fuck.
Fuck Steph, the guy is a waste of talent and nothing but a distraction. I would love to see him play 40 min a game for NY, but that is only because I’d love to see them lose every single game. For an actual FAN of NY to want to see Steph playing, they must be some sort of masochist or sadist.

i feel bad for stephon and i aint even a knicks fan, he had his hopes up from being the 7th man in the preseason but he dint even play that sucks, now there is going to be a weeping contest between him and eddy

BxBaller says:
I’m guessing none of you guys are Knicks’ fans. If not, then stfu. Dude has been on his best behavior all thru trainig camp and the preseason and this is what D’Antoni does.
D’Antoni is full of shit. He claims that he’s only going to play guys who are ready, yet he plays that fucking Italian bum who hasn’t played a game in 3 months. Plus Steph was in the rotation during the preseason, so why not play him now. I really hope the Knicks cut him so he can go somewhere else, showcase his talent and bust the Knicks ass everytime he plays them.
I’m out like E-City’s pt.

Three Stacks says:
Curry and Steph both get a fat “DNP – Coach’s Decision” and guess what, the Knicks win a game. Maybe D’antoni ain’t that stupid after all.
They put up 120 points. Knicks might be fun to watch this year.

William Prince says:
As much as I used to like Starbury in the past, and still do by the way, I can understand D’antoni’s decision to leave him out. The Knick’s should’ve probably waived him before the start of the regular season. In a situation like that it’s only a matter of time until a bad chemistry builds up b/c of Marbury’s frustration. The team’s heading into a new direction and as Alan Hahn pointed out Marbury doesn’t seem to be part of D’antoni’s plans. It leaves playing time for young players to develop and that’s def. positive.

karizmatic says:
I think the win last night justifies the decision, they played Marbury all last season and were terrible, they were able to score 120 without him and get a win. Let him sit, maybe if he does get playing time he’ll value it more.

Sccob says:
Chris Duhon is a bum. Whenever he was in the game the Heat came back. He is not a threat on defense nor offense. At least Steph would put pressure on the a backcourt

Carmikal says:
I understand trying to ice Steph out even though he hasn’t done anything to Donnie or D’antoni but that was just grimy style! According to reports, the guido isn’t even 100% yet he got some tick?? They were up 20 points and cruising yet Steph can’t get some burn. D’antoni played him like a sucka. I could understand if he was beefin with somebody or causing raucos but he put in work this offseason(yo youtube that workout joint of steph)and is better that Duhon on a bad day. Speaking of Duhon, I didn’t know that he has that slow going to hole.
Anyway, is D’antoni on some loyalty agenda ish?? Duhon only starts because Coach K talked him up to D’antoni this summer and Q starts over Wilson because of Phoenix. Play your best players son, word bond!

Galaxy973 says:
IF STARBURY DOES NOT PLAY, ITS GOING TO BE ANOTHER MEDIA FILLED SEASON WITH LOTS OF DRAMA. PLAY STEPH AND GET SOMETHING OUT OF THAT 20 MILLION. MARTY COLLINS SUCKS…LETS BE REAL, STEPH CAN CONTRIBUTE MORE THAN HIM!!!

Mike Jones says:
The Knicks don’t need that bitch. Steph. = Stephanie. Stephanie Marbury can get caught with twin dongs in his mouth. What’s the greatest thing homeboy has ever done? Does seeing the playoffs a FEW times make you a great player? Apparently some people think so. I hope Stephanie sits on the bench, and a dick, for the rest of the season.

BxBaller says:
Mike Jones & Ian are both fags. You guys rather have Collins & Duhon on the floor than Steph, get the fuck outta here.

They are just NY fans…they’d rather see NY actually do good for some reason. If you want Steph on the floor playing big minutes, then you want NY to fail (and they will). That clown is a loser, through and through, he will spread the losing like a cancer.
I personally hope he averages 40 minutes a game this season.
