19 Teams Want Antonio McDyess

Wait, what? Now that he’s reportedly agreed to a buyout, we could see a few teams wanting to sign him – like the Pistons or the Celticsbut almost 20 teams are interested in signing him? What good is he to any team that’s not a contender looking to shore up their front line?

Contender for what? Sixteen teams make the playoffs, and three or four more will be within a game or two of making them. Probably almost all of them can use a good big man off the bench.

Not saying I’d have seen it coming, but one of those things that makes sense after the fact.

The Cavs are probably blowing his phone up right now salivating at a chance to get rid of varejo like they should’ve done last season when he got his sex change

He’s also a good clubhouse guy, so Minny and OKC might be 2 of the teams.

    What??

    Minnesota or OKC?

McDyess fought back from career ending knee surgeries and lasted past his prime in the NBA to leave on a last place team?

    You’re out of your mind.

I HOPE he comes back to Detroit or else we’ll have some problems in our front court.

LOL! I didn’t say Dice would consider, but they would lose nothing by asking. :)

And I hope he is back with Detroit too. Unless Kwame Brown starts averaging a triple double.

I would say 20 teams have a chance to make the playoffs.

Well he either goes back to the Pistons, or he’s really pissed at Joe and signs in Boston. my 2 cents

  13. Allie says:

I agree with jz_smoove, he’ll be back with the Pistons.

like i just posted on need4sheed.com, if dyess doesn’t go back to detroit we wont make it to the conf. finals guarented!!!!

When he signs back with the Pistons, NOTHING will stop them this year. And good on Joe D for making a Chauncey-for-AI trade. He’s a brilliant GM.
