Al Thornton Gives His Girlfriend The Silent Treatment
From what I can see, Los Angeles makes dudes do some crazy things. First, we saw Baron Davis join Jenny Craig, then Sasha Vujacic try and impress Kobe; now it appears Al Thornton gave the silent treatment to his girlfriend.
Until Thornton and the Clippers ended their six-game losing streak, the second-year player said he didn’t want to talk to her – partly out of superstition and partly not wanting to talk when he’s in a bad mood.
“It wasn’t anything personal,” Thornton said. “She knows how I am about basketball.”
Would you ice out your girl if your team was losing?

If basketball was my job, and I thought that running around with my silly, had any effect on my game…in any way shape or for…I’d annex her during a 5+game losing streak (unless I played for the Thunder, I’d probably just do us both a favor and dump her).
