Amare has 41 points through three quarters
Amare Stoudemire, Dime #14Going into the fourth quarter of Pacers/Suns, Amare Stoudemire is destroying everyone in white, blue and yellow. STAT has 41 points on 15-of-17 shooting (more like dunking) from the field and 11-of-11 from the stripe. Everyone that Pacers coach Jim O’Brien has tried on Amare — Roy Hibbert, Troy Murphy, Jeff Foster, even Maceo Baston got a turn for a couple minutes — has been getting punched on. And twice in the last two minutes of the third quarter Stoudemire (6 asts, 4 steals) led the Phoenix fast break and picked up an assist.
UPDATE: Amare finished the game with 49 points, one shy of his career-high, and the Pacers were bent on not letting him get 50 on them. With the game out of reach, Indiana fouled the Suns twice in the final 25 seconds to send them to the line rather than let Amare get the ball again.

WOW. Amare just dunked on Jeff Foster and might have taken off a piece of his head.

Amare is a perfect example that you don’t need to gain weight to have power. Greg Oden needs to lose weight and strengthen his lower body.
STAT is a going to have 30ppg season easy…no one else on the team really demands the ball and he will have room to operate…
