Andray Blatche Silences The Haters
ABI’m sorry Austin, but I think you may have spoke too soon. With a new captain at the helm, it appears Andray Blatche may realize that potential we’ve been hearing about for so long.
In Ed Tapscott‘s coaching debut, Blatche played a team-high 29 minutes off the bench and put up numbers: 25 points, 12 boards, five assists, five blocks and two steals while shooting 11-18 from the floor, 2-2 from the stripe and even making his lone three-point attempt.
Tapscott is the team’s former Director of Player Development, so it appears he believes in Blatche and isn’t ready to write him off just yet. Check back tomorrow morning to hear the full Blatche breakdown in the (Almost) Daily Fantasy.
Who would you compare Blatche’s game to in the NBA right now?

Where has he been the whole year though…He waits until the coach is fired?
Maybe Eddie’s voice just wasn’t getting through anymore. They have talent despite Arenas and Haywood being out. Magee is looking better and better. They have no excuses for being this bad…
We’ll see if Blatche continues to apply himself…

Blatche had a few standout games last year too. We’ll see if he keeps it up.

i’m sure he’s going to be extremely inconsistent and this won’t last more than a couple of games at best. i’m also sure that it is too early to write off a 22 year old extremely athletic 7 footer.

don’t get too giddy – every opposing big man had their moment with the warriors… just ask marc gasol…
let’s see how true he is when he goes to the staples center – yeah, both LA teams can give fits to opposing bigs…

A game here and there don’t mean shit.
Wait until the kid doesn’t look like a fish out of water while on the court for a few games.

Wait a minute “Blatche played a team-high 29 minutes”
how is 29 minutes a team high? unless that was only for bench players.

Ric Hardwood says:
didn’t they play Golden State? pshhhh… Golden State also had Marc Gasol give them 27 and 16… and he hasn’t done anything close to that since… Blatche will have to have another good game against another team before I’m sold…
