Andre Iguodala Goes Off
After clearly reading Andrew’s post earlier today that singled him out as one of the Top 5 biggest let-down’s thus far this season, Andre Iguodala was one rebound away from a triple-double in tonight’s W against the Raptors.
Notching 18 points, 10 dimes and nine boards, Iggy was a man on a mission.
If he can keep lines like that coming, could you see AI on the All Star team this February?

If he averages a triple double? Yes. Will he do that? No. Will he be on the All-Star team? Probably not. Depending on his listing (G? F?).

I understand that he has the same initials…but please stop calling that dude “AI”, everytime you folks say that I think of Iverson. Call him “Iggy” or some sh*t like that.
Will he make the All-Star team? Maybe if he is consistant..but even if so I doubt it.

^ Andre is still not worth what the Sixers paid him though…he knows this, but im not mad at him, if they are crazy enough to give it to you Andre, then take it!

Magnifico says:
If he’s listed as SF, most likely not. LBJ and the Truth hold those spots.
Unless the coaches pick him, which might happen if he averages a triple double.

Aron says:
No way he averages a triple-double, but if he finally gets his game back on track and the Sixers turn it around, he’ll definitely have a say in the Coach vote.

Yea, and at SG there’ll be AI, Wade, J-Rich, Rip, VC, etc. I don’t see it this year.

One good game so far this season . . . I doubt he can keep it up.

Too bad his next game will be 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

Kudabeen says:
If his next game is a win, then who cares except for fantasy cats…Dre-I needs to have the ball more and Sixers need to better define his role in the offense. They really weren’t calling his number until the last two games. That was in part due to the shooting of Thad and the extra effort to getting brand the ball to start the offense. Brand hasn’t been able to effectively pass out of the double teams, so there aren’t any easy baskets until Lou comes in and they get running. Dre-I will be alright, but I need to see more nights like the last two and he needs to get to the line more to be what the team needs him to be.
SayitAint:
I agree. He doesn’t even like the name Iggy…I wouldn’t call him AI either, that is lame. I’m going to continue rolling with Dre-I…at least until he shows us something else…

Kevin says:
Yeah, but it was against our porous perimeter defense, which completely negates any good stat line.

OK he simply doesn’t deserve to be called AI in any forum, at any point. AI2 at best, but gimme a break. Only ONE AI

Dave says:
I think Iggy is on the borderline for an All-Star spot. Depends on his team’s record and how credit Elton Brand gets.
Right now, it looks like he’ll be on the outside looking in but he can change that.
