Breaking News: Bulls Sign Lindsey Hunter
After spending the past five seasons with the Detroit Pistons, the Chicago Bulls have signed 37-year-old veteran point guard Lindsey Hunter. Although he hasn’t played yet this season, he’s expected to join the team for their game against the Dallas Mavericks tonight.
Hunter fills the void of injured guards Kirk Hinrich and Larry Hughes.

veteran stability, there is a need for that

Okay Chitown…I think it’s time. Say it with me:
“Fire John Paxson”
What in the hell is Hunter gonna do? Maybe if it were 3 years ago. They could get better talent in the D-League.

Rumor has it that Curly Neal wasn’t available, so then they put the call in to Lindsay Hunter.

he’s been making some questionable moves for a minute…just give us a scoring post threat and everything will be fine.
i like hunter though as a player and he been around for a long ass( playing with dumars even) time but it would’v'e been cool if he could have finished up in detroit

Dave says:
I’m surprised Lindsey Hunter played for anyone other than Detroit.
I’m surprised Joe Dumars didn’t give Hunter the final roster spot on the team.
As for Chicago and making this move. It’s fine. Hunter is a decent stop-gap while Hinrich is out. The one thing I do like is Rose having to go against Hunter’s defense in practice everyday, and hopefully he’ll learn a few things from Hunter too.

Hunter is caught up in legal troubles, and the only spot they wanted to give Hunter was front office…also, it was apparent in the playoffs Hunter isn’t as effective as before…i remember he stole it from D Wade like 3 times straight…i barely saw steals in the playoffs last year…
