@vinny, honestly, i cannot remember Garnett ever going hard at a black vet. He picks on white guys and young guys. Garnett is a b*tch and its sad that he gets away with all the crap he does. I know what he does is legal and within the rules (except for maybe the handclapping) but i would love to see him go after sheed or artest. And please don’t forget that his “intensity” was severely dialed down against Lebron and Ben Wallace last year. It may seem like i’m trying to drag race into this argument, but history shows us the players that Garnett f*cks with are by and large white. And if they aren’t white then they are new to the league. Garnett has no class and really no respect for his opponent or the game. Its one thing to talk trash, but his actions on the court are bush league. If he pulled that crap on any playground, he’d be looking at some busted teeth. I respect Garnett as a player, although he is a classic second banana who needed someone else to push him over the hump. He’s definitely top 10 pf of all time (Duncan, Karl, Diggler, Barkley, Mchale, Baylor, Moses, etc). Really the best person to compare him to would be Chris Webber in terms of talent and when they were both asked to carry teams, they pussied up and took 16 foot jump shots. He’s lucky Pierce carried him offensively and even luckier he had a bunch of soft Lakers to push around. This truly is not a commentary on race, but rather on Garnett’s penchant for targeting “soft” (read: white) players.

Garnett is as stupid as he is intense. To the NBA from high school my ass. What did he do there… ring the bell?

Fact is, Garnett should’ve been ejected (and no further suspension necessary) and wasn’t, and Bogut was inexplicably handed a technical for doing nothing wrong or deliberate, and it effectively decided the game in Boston’s favour. The referees should be suspended, in truth.

@jay and anyone else defending gay ass kg…It’s part of the game when you do it to EVERYBODY maybe. He only does it to people he thinks he can take…Best example when he tried to do it to Peeler (who played with him so knew kg was a punk) Peeler punched him in his mug and KG backed away like a little bi@tch. I love it b/c even though he annoys the hell out of me, it seems like the joke is on him b/c everybody now knows he’s a punk. I would have loved to see KG do that to someone like Oakly. Even Jason Maxwell punked him.

KG should not have been suspended for this. Like several people said KG has been doing this for years and now everybody on the board is mad about it. I guess because the Celtics won them a championship they are the most hated team in the league. No one was saying a word about KG antics when he was in Minnesota and use to go at Duncan like this all the time. But now it is a problem. It T-Mac wasn’t suspended for pushing down Nash then KG shouldn’t be suspended for this.

That play in itself doesn’t warrant a suspension. This 1-game timeout is basically a blanket suspension for all the stuff KG does and gets away with on the regular. Y’know, screaming “Get that sh*t outta here!”, pointing his finger in opponents’ faces, etc — all of which, is chalked up as passion and intensity.
The league is just getting this punishment out of the way early so when KG starts up again in the playoffs, they can hold off on any discipline and still claim, “Hey, we DID suspend KG earlier this year. He’s not untouchable!” as KG shouts a big F*CK YOU to everybody in sight.

He shouldn’t have been suspended. He got hit and hit Bogut back so they got T’ed up. Just leave it at that.
