Chauncey Billups Gives Thanks To Denver

Tonight against the New Orleans Hornets, Chauncey Billups will pay homage to Denver, Colorado. Billups, a native of Denver and former three-time Colorado ‘Mr. Basketball’ recipient will wear these TS Creator Thanksgiving Day to give thanks to the place that made him “Mr. Big Shot.”

The sneaker’s design was inspired by the community Billups’ accredits his success to. Most notably, the gold and black colorway along with the “GO BUFFS” text ties back to Chauncey’s days at the University of Colorado.

11 autographed pairs of these kicks will be auctioned off on November 28th and last for a week. The Auction will start at $100.00. For more info hit up http://auctions.nba.com/. All proceeds will go to the Porter-Billups Leadership Academy, a local Denver non-sports institute providing disadvantaged youth optimal opportunities and resources to achieve academic success.
