Chris Bosh Will Get Your Vote
With a 40 point, 18 rebound effort tonight (missing only five of his 19 shots), I don’t think Chris Bosh will need to make any videos this Fall to get to Phoenix…
If you were drafting a fantasy team today, where would you take CB4?

I watched that game, and orlando had no answer for him. He was sticking j’s, getting to the rack, and grabbing boards. He had a NASTY pumpfake and drive where he finished with a reverse on the other side.

If the Raptors had anything that resembled a point guard today this would have been a much different story.
Will Solomon looked like he either took a horrible shot or threw the ball away every possession.

Raps got inside players but lack a crazy outside player.
Kapono is sick… during all star weekend

Dagomar says:
Raps usually have lots of outside shooting . . . AP, Calderon, Bargnani, Kapono? That’s enough. But when you replace Calderon with Soloman something has got to give. We better hope Calderon isn’t out for long.
Where do I draft the best offensive big man in the East? Pretty damn high.

I take him with my 2nd pick (after LeBron) instead of Steve “Suddenly-Average” Nash.

Chris Bosh is making a run at a first ballot Hall of Fame appearance. He is also starting to look less and less like a goomba (from Mario Brothers) every year.

the win would have been nicer

JCARR says:
i would take him 4th right behind kobe, bron, and paul. The 4th pick can really go to three big men. 1.STAT 2.D-Howard 3.CB4
Bosh has a nice midrange shot, inside game, tenacity, occasional threes, blocks, boards. He’s truly multidimensional.

I like Chris, but ya’ll going crazy up in here..”first ballot Hall of Fame”? Come on now contral. LOL!! I think he’ll get votes for the All-Star game, but because Toranto is not the best place to play for when it comes to marketing and Chris isn’t one of the more popular stars in the NBA..he may be a reserve..but still an all star none the less

…On a side note, has anyone noticed that Chris is one of the few dudes in the NBA who actually looks like their teams mascot? Chris actually looks like a RAPTOR. Dont believe me? Go watch the movie Jurrasic park then get at me. LMAO!!

In an 11 team fantasy league, took Bosh in the second round of my fantasy draft at pick 13. He’s been killing it this season, just like I thought he would but better.
However, my first round pick was deron williams at pick 11, and his injuries are killing my squad. I had him slated to start at PG for the entire season, but now i had to shift Brandon Roy (3rd round pick) to cover and then I picked up Antonio Daniels who is not producing at all.
Frustrated fantasy gamer.

the rocket cat says:
People keep saying Toronto isn’t a good city for marketing. I’m not sure I believe that. When Vince Carter left Toronto, he went from being a superstar (consistently #1 in all star votes), to just a star. Because we only have one team in Canada, the Raptors have a huge fan base, stretching from coast to coast. It’s true that the Raptors don’t get a lot of coverage on U.S. television, but they have some of the best attendance in the league and their games are televised across Canada. In terms of just the city itself, Toronto is a much bigger city than most Americans realize, and is also a pretty wealthy city, which can’t hurt.
When Bosh first came into the league, I thought he looked like Littlefoot from The Land Before Time. No, I’m not 8 years old. I’d forgotten the movie existed until I saw Bosh for the first time. Now that he’s older, he no longer resembles him.

@ “the rocket Cat”
I was speaking about the U.S..when it comes to marketing, any NBA cat will tell you that Toronto isnt one of the Franchises that you can get a lot of coverage and marketing from in the U.S…Vince Carter had a lot of votes when he left Toronto and went to Jersey, it wasnt untill now that he hasnt been getting as many votes as he used to (and that may have to do more with the way he is playing now and his teams performance more then anything else). And even so, Vince Carter has made more of a name for himself then Chris Bosh has..because Carter is more of a flashy player, he was always recognisable and people wanted to see him in the All-Star game. Bosh isnt like that, he’s more of a strait forward player..which is fine, but the people that get the highest votes in the All-Star games tend to be players that are more flashy and recognisable. So while Toronto is a big city and has a large fanbase there..it doesnt as much in the U.S. Thats not taking anything away from Bosh though.

Ugh such a painful game to watch. The raps WASTED a gem from CB4 tonite. Its not even the fact that Calderon wasnt playin its basketball 101. Dont leave ur feet to pass especially a cross court pass. Dont dribble into traffic, dont bring the ball up on the sideline. I swear if I ran the point tonite we coulda won. They also forgot how to play d (the guards) cause Jameer Nelson was lookin like AI tonite (minus the braids)

40 points is pretty useless unless it is a win…

Brown says:
CB4 better get used to this. He’s putting up all-star numbers and playing out of his mind, but the rest of the team is pretty sorry. O’neal and Calderon are good players, but there’s not one player on the rest of their roster that I’d want on my team. If that Raps don’t get him some help before the end of next season, I wouldn’t be surprised if he left and signed with another team.

Bosh is an ALL Star starter this year at PF. If Bron voted at SF and D-Ho at center, then tis a lock. Probably only Elton Brans will give a run for his money. Sorry no KG this year, reserve at best.

KG is not going to be a reserve…he’s too popular with the votes. Raptors fans, except that Bosh will be a reserve in the All-Star game..he can take it or leave it.
