Derrick Rose Didn’t Get One Vote
No love from the GMsWhen the NBA released its annual preseason survey of league general managers, they chose Michael Beasley to be Rookie of the Year followed by Greg Oden, O.J. Mayo, Kevin Love, Anthony Randolph and Russell Westbrook. Derrick Rose didn’t get one vote.
Perhaps that’s why Rose, who has no time for hazing, leads all rookies in scoring at 17.8 points per game, to go with 4.2 assists and 3.6 rebounds in 35 minutes a night.
Although Beasley came out and said he’s gunning for the award, after the first week, who would you say is in the lead?

I’d say it’s a safe bet that by season’s end, Milwaukee Bucks rookie Luc Richard Mbah a Moute will be in the discussion, AT THE VERY LEAST. If Skiles keeps giving the kid burn like last night, (barring any major bonehead mistakes, this will continue)LRMAM will continue to be THE steal of the draft.

Again, I said potential. Let’s see what heppens if he hits the rookie wall

The Bulls are a completely different team when Rose goes out. They look like a little below average team when he’s in, but when he goes out they look like a high school team.

im looking forward to the NBA Rookies vs. Sophomores game. Rose-Beasley-Mayo versus Durant-Horford and Co.
Wonder which team Oden will play for?
The NBA is overloaded with young talent. Nice.
