Detroit is beating themselves
Not to take anything away from the Celtics, who are knocking on a 20-piecing as the third quarter ticks away in Boston, but the Pistons are running out of feet to shoot themselves in. After looking pretty good in the first quarter, the Pistons’ lack of ball movement (the main thing everyone was scared of when A.I. came on board), getting outrebounded, giving up too many open shots on D and missing too many open shots on their own end is putting them in an impossible position. Barring a replay of last night’s second-half comeback against the Cavs, Detroit is about to drop to 0-2 against the Celtics this season.
