whats worse? the heat announcers calling chris quinn “quinny” or the spurs announcers calling fabricio oberto “fab”

I'd say the two corny Blazer announcers calling Steve Blake "blakey"!!??!

QQ, while I haven't been following Predrag's career nearly as microscopically as you have, I must say he drained some crucial buckets last year, along with a game winner/sealer here or there.

The Hornets have been slacking this year. CP getting boards is just a trickle-down consequence that happens when our frontcourt gets extremely lazy (and lazy they have been).

And good for Malik Rose. Hope that kid learns a lesson. But I sense a silent Dictator-Stern-fine impending...

Quote from Scott...

Oklahoma City's front line, led by Nick Collison, who finished with 13 boards, dominated the glass, outrebounding New Orleans 48-35.

"They play hard," Scott said. "That worried me because we haven't done that on a consistent basis. In Collison, (Chris) Wilcox and (Robert) Swift (who sat out the game with a sore back), especially their front-line guys, they play hard. They go after every rebound. They crash the glass on the offensive and defensive end.

"And that scared the heck out of me, because our guys, our front line, has not been rebounding worth a damn this season. We're damn near last in rebounding this year when we were in the top 10 last year. That's a big problem spot for us. They have athletic bigs that attack the glass."

Matter of fact ian, it's your boy Kidd who seems to would rather go after triple doubles rather than help his team win.

Stop hating ian. Even Byron Scott said in a recent article that his teams' rebounding has been down lately. Tyson's ankle may still be bothering him so he hasn't been jumping as much. If Tyson or West isn't getting them, someone has to. And Paul has always been a good rebounding guard for his size. Paul doesn't do anything "just to get a triple double" otherwise I'm sure he'd have more than just 5 career triple doubles. The guy wants to win. If that means grabbing a few extra rebounds then so be it. Stop hating. It's really unnecessary.

tough call Ansonious.
Obviously at the end of last season the Suns did not mesh well and were thrown off by the whole Shaq thing (while D'Antoni was still there).

Now, they seem to get it. They understand STAT is The Man, Shaq is the Father Figure who can still go off and Nash is the maestro. Nash's shooting is deadly - I think they will be in the Conference Finals this year. They now know to cruise until the playoffs and thats where half-court ball is most important, but not as important as Defense, which the Suns now actually have a bit of.

I hope Wade's performances this season don't get over-shadowed by the earth-shattering dunks of Lebron. The pair of them are playing out of their minds right now, and both have a pretty weak supporting cast

And it would seem that Nash was the perfect PG for D'antoni's system, but is struggling to adjust to playing more in the half-court. Remember in Dallas he played under Don Nelson, so it has been a fair few years since Nash ran a true half court offence
