EnergySolutions Arena Is Rocking
Without Deron Williams in the lineup tonight, the Jazz have gotten huge buckets from both of their backup point guards, Ronnie Price and Brevin Knight. Down the stretch, Knight has drilled three straight foul-line jumpers in transition to help extend Utah’s lead over Phoenix to a comfortable twelve-point cushion.
And with Knight putting up numbers, it seems like the rest of the Jazz squad has gotten a big boost. Paul Millsap just rejected Shaq’s try for a dunk from point blank. Andrei Kirilenko wetted a 10-footer, and came back on the other end a couple of plays later to toss two consecutive baby hooks from the Diesel. And goodness gracious did EnergySolutions Arena get loud. It’s almost like the Jazz got the biggest possible boost – both in the stat column and in the momentum department – from Knight’s three straight buckets.
Phoenix’s much-publicized defense hasn’t stopped Utah from getting a good look on their last ten possessions.
