Jordan Melo M5
Jordan Melo M5Carmelo Anthony is as versatile as it comes. If you caught the Olympic qualifying games in Vegas you probably noticed that ‘Melo played all 5 positions on the floor. While we didn’t see it too much in the actual Olympic Games, Anthony did play shooting guard, small and power forward.
Anthony’s ability to play more than one position was one of driving forces behind his latest signature shoe. The Jordan Melo M5 is the ideal shoe for a versatile basketball player. Playable right out the box, the M5 is a performance sneaker that has been designed with technology that benefits players at each position.
Jordan Melo M5At 15 ounces, the shoe is considerably light and was made so that flexibility and fit wouldn’t be a problem..you know, for all the two and three guards out there. Extra cushioning and support were also added to benefit the big men making the M5 kicks perfect for any type of baller.
I occasionally play in the Melo M4, and I like the support and comfort. I have a bunch of ankle issues and the M4 definitely helped in terms of stability. The M5’s stability support surpasses its predecessor so I am anxious to slip on a pair. You guys can pick up the Jordan Melo M5 Sat, November 22nd. the price point will be $125.

“Carmelo Anthony is as versatile as it comes.”
Ha! Now thats some marketing bulls&*t. I suppose in international competition he did, but to say he can do that in the NBA… thats a big joke. Dude can’t play the 2, gets beat by physical 4’s. Dude is a shoot first, no rebounding 3. Period.

Izzy,
Take a look at Melo’S game. The dude gets busy at the 2,3, and the 4. Any NBA players at those positions will tell you Anthony gets buckets at any of those spots.

they aight, but nowadays no player has a really fresh line of signature sneaks, obiviously nobody is seeing MJ when it comes to that
Melos are aight, lebrons are average, kobe had better kicks when he was with adidas (except for the hyperdunks)
and i just ain’t feelin this whole brotherhood thing they tryna come up with
these sneaker companies gotta take it back to the 90s/early 00’s and step they game up
hyperdunks are definitely a good start tho

Melo does rebound, what are you on about? I don’t think he’s versatile though, not relatively.
Those shoes are bland as can be. How about something with a bit of modern design, Christian? Shox, And1s, anything. Help me out! haha

I hear you about the ankles CGF. I have had a few roll my ankle moments on the court too. All you ballers out there know if you had this happen before it will make a grown man cry. The first time it happened I made the mistake of taking my shoe off right away…wrong thing to do. The first thing you should do is tighten your shoe up, wait until you get home and ice. But ever since my last ankle roll injury (which was on concrete and left a ball on my ankle the size of an apple) I always wear an ankle brace on both feet ala Allen Iverson circa ‘96. They give me added support and also help with the balance on my jump shot.

I got this kicks a few days ago, appearance is great with all those detailed stitching going on at the sides. Support is awesome specially on the ankle area, however the sole kinda stiff though. Probably because its fresh out of the box and i havent had a chance to play on it till the next few days. We’ll see… Overall its worth it!
