Michael Jordan Conspiracy Theory

When reports surfaced this weekend that Michael Jordan was interested in taking control of the Charlotte Bobcats if majority owner Bob Johnson decides to sell the club, some people looked at the statement in a different light.

By drafting Adam Morrison, hiring Larry Brown, trading for Nazr Mohammed and considering a deal for Eddy Curry, it appears MJ may be tanking his squad.

It also would send the Bobcats further into oblivion, cause Johnson further consternation about all the money he is spending for a lousy basketball team and perhaps get him to thinking that he should just get out while the getting is good.

Do you think MJ is tanking his squad?

   Now that you say it…maybe. That, or MJ sucks as an exec…which has been proven before. I’d like to hope that he just sucks…I doubt he’d want to purposely tarnish his legacy.

    MJ is FAR too competitive to do something like that. My guess is he just sucks as an exec and scouting talent.
