NBA Dimes: Luanna

Today’s installment of the NBA Dance Team Files is one of the finest members of the HEAT Dancers, Luanna. When you’re on the court, what’s your favorite routine? “When I Grow Up” by The Pussycat Dolls.
What is it like behind the scenes of a calendar photo shoot? It’s crazy! Everyone is running around everywhere trying to get their hair, make-up, and outfit ready. There are 25 girls who have to shoot one right after the other so it’s non-stop shooting for the photographers…ALL IN ONE DAY!

Every time I make it to a Celtics game, the dance team gives me tunnel vision and I zone out of everything else in the world. Gets ugly when your girlfriend takes you to the game for your birthday.
celtics.com has all of the bios for the dancers, plus photo galleries for all of the tryouts. Not that I looked at every photo on the site or anything..
The website just doesn’t do them justice though compared to when they are out on the floor. They are amazing.
