If the Knicks wanted tonight’s game in Boston to shed some light on how far they’ve come under Mike D’Antoni, they’ll have to look at this game with an asterisks.
With Kevin Garnett not even allowed in the building as he serves his questionable one-game suspension, one member of the Dime Team today was talking conspiracy in the office. Utah without Deron Williams. San Antonio without Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili. Now Boston without KG. Someone upstairs must be looking out for the Knicks.
Well, whomever that someone is, he has quite the sense of humor. Replacing Garnett in the starting lineup was Brian Scalabrine, as Doc Rivers didn’t want to mess with his rotation. Reading between the lines, that basically says Veal isn’t even close to getting legit clock.
Through the first quarter, the Knicks are doing much better than they did in last season’s infamous Boston Massacre. If you don’t remember, the Knicks were humiliated by the Celtics in a nationally televised game to the tune of 104-59 – falling behind by 52 points at one point.
Who do you think wins this game?

answer = One brand new shiny NOTAGODDAMNTHANG, plus the extreme gaiety you obviously worked so hard for.
We are so jealous right now that you posted first and did not care to relinquish even one solid f*cking opinion or statement.

that being said, boston will prolly win at home anyway unless crawford sets it off. see that is how opinions work!

Conspiracy my ass! Boston getting KG to go along with Allen and Pierce was a conspiracy. If Kevin McHale isn’t in Minnesota, Danny Ainge, Doc Rivers and the Larry O’Brian trophy are not in Boston. All the critics have said that Stephon Marbury is by far the Knicks best player so while we all agree that they have faced the Wizards, Boston, Utah and San Antonio without their top players, the Knicks too have also played without their top player so it’s a wash. As Jerry Sloan said, are they supposed to not play till Deron gets back and just count each game as a loss? As the season goes and they get better on defense and their legs get stronger and increase their stamina the Knicks can sneak into the playoffs and then anything goes.

Scal delivered the dagger from the left corner…it was beautiful. The Knicks need to stop the chatter. Last year it got them beat by almost 50 and last night WITHOUT KG and with Pierce and Allen sleep walking they could not win. They were dominated in the paint by Big Perk and Leon Powe.
One thing I will say is the officiating was terrible on both ends. Some real bad calls out there last night…
