The End of Marbury Could Come Tonight

The New York Post is reporting that Stephon Marbury’s run in New York could end as early as tonight, with him possibly being waived after the Knicks’ game against the Bucks.
If it does happen tonight, he would clear waivers after two days and then be eligible to sign with another team for the veteran’s $1.2 million minimum.

No more drama… Hope Marbz joins forces with the HEAT so every good ol’ Knicksfan can hate the M.I.A. even more!
Curry’s next in line. I wish they would just buy him out too but it’s never gonna happen since there’s too many years left on his, well, FAT contract –no pun intended.
They sould try to call MJ and swap Curry and Mardy Collins and a pick for Mohammed and Morrison. Charlotte would get some kind of offense at the 4-5, and a young point guard. New York would get a serviceable big man and a useful shooter.

Well, we know he’s not going to Charlotte.
If all things were the same (money), do you think the Hawks would rather have Bibby or Marbury?
Would Denver take a chance? Golden State? Washington? New Orleans needs a decent backup.

i never liked starbury…but he’ll probably be playin’ with a chip on his shoulder…so i wouldn’t mind him signing with the heat for a season.

anyone thinking about taking marbury is a fool, especially the Heat. miami is not winning the ‘chip this year regardless.. why not give the young guys the PT they need to develop and/or trade marion for a better PG? they can do that or import a cancer who has never won anything….

THIS TRADE WORKS! I honestly hope and pray this would go down!
Knicks trade Stephon Marbury, Eddy Curry, Nate Robinson, David Lee and a pick to the HEAT. The HEAT give up Udonis Haslem, Shawn Marion and Mark Blount in return.
Should benefit both teams! What do you people think?

Guys.
The most interesting facet of this is that Marbury has no agent. Check out the interesting story below:

He probably asked to be on the Inactive List so he could broker some deals in the locker room.

Dear Greg Popovich,
Please get Marbury, make him drink the Kool-Aid and let him play the shit out of the 2 guard position on your team. Help me Obi-Wan - you’re my only hope.
