The Modern-Day Sun Tzu
After we called him STAT this morning, it appears Amare Stoudemire has a new moniker. According to The Arizona Republic, Stoudemire wants to be called Sun Tzu.
Sun Tzu, the author of The Art of War, had an immense impact on Chinese history, culture and military strategy. In his book he describes how to be a victorious warrior, a trait that clearly sparked Stoudemire’s interest.
Last night, Stoudemire proved that he wasn’t just reading the cliff notes. What do you think he has in store next?

Aron, good movie, but honestly, I would be more impressed with Amare if he told me that he read the book before the movie. I think I might just call him Ghost Dog for the rest of his career instead.

Whoever gave the nickname is obviously irrelevant, because:
A) Self-titled nicknames are childish.
B) Nicknames by Shaq are like autographs. Sign enough and it no longer holds value unless it’s on a check.
So either way, this has no value.
On another note, you can call me Samson cause I’ll wreck your city merely with the jaw-bone of an ass. Yeah, didn’t Cliff Notes the Bible either.

Consistency…He can dominate his matchups just about every game, but some games he just wants to play offense…He is an All-Star, but if he plays at that level consistently this Suns team is a contender and a match for the Lakers…They still need to figure out how to contain the other teams opposing PGs though…
