In the Warriors’ continued effort to deal Al Harrington, they’ve been in contact with the Nets to gauge Rod Thorn’s interest in the New Jersey native. But the most recent rumor between these two teams doesn’t actually include Harrington.
The Warriors reportedly offered Marco Bellinelli in exchange for either Josh Boone or Sean Williams, but the Nets rejected the deal. Maybe the Nets share Golden State’s belief that Bellinelli should only see tick during the Summer League. Or, maybe they’re gaining confidence in their young shot blocker.
In fact, Sean Williams has seen 34 minutes of his last two games, which is more than he’d seen over the course of the season previously.
What do you think of the Warriors’ offer?

Sean Williams is worth way more than just Bellinelli, throw in Morrow jk… Nah but for real the nets need someone like harrington and bellinelli (now they
Williams would benefit from the Warriors style of play,BUT they are already stacked at that position.
Warriors get Williams, Simmons, 2nd round draft pick
Nets get Harrington, Bellinelli

the last thing the nets need right now is to add to their youth movement with a “euro marksman”. they have been burned by euro players with similar reputations - zoran planinic, christian drejer. williams is a cheap commodity whose value will only grow as the season progresses, particularly if he gets into the game and can show his defensive presence. The Nets should work a deal with Minnesota that includes Ryan Gomes and some draft picks.

What a good 3 way trade to make this work would be….(miami, nets, GSW)
Marion to GSW
Bellineli, Dorrell Wright,Harrington to Nets
Sean Willaims or Josh Boone , Kelena Azubukie to Miami

Marion to GSW? GSW already has SJax and Maggette at SF and needs a PG more than anything.
Btw, NJ can have Marcus Williams back. Free. Really, just take him.

I hope the Grizz try to get Marco Bellinelli. I wonder if theyd take Kyle Lowry for him straight up, it would give us a shooter that we need badly and clear up room at our point guard position and then we could actually give Javaris Crittenton some playing time. Get on the phone Chris Wallace!

Absolutely looks like Andre 3000. I don’t think there’s going to be a better statement about his appearance than that.

Belinelli and Turiaf to the Sixers for Marreese Speights. The Sixers need a shooter. Only thing is, Turiaf can’t be traded until December.
I wouldn’t give up on Williams yet if I were the Nets.
Plus, Brandan Wright can’t get any PT in G-State. What’s to say Williams would fare any different?

Jayo your trippin you must be a knicks fan because they would be riiping everyone else off in that deal. I think the Warriors need to keep Bellineli how do you trade a guy who you’ve never given play time to. For all they know Marco could be a solid player but they never put him on the court. I say play him at the point since were thin in that postiion and he could shoot. But I guess that will never happen until Nellie is goen. Please get this guy out of the Bay and back in Hawaii retired where he belongs. I hate he coaching philosophies. You can’t win championships with Nellie small ball and it makes me want to puke knowing they gave this guy an extension.

Dave says:
I think Bellinelli is worth very little in the trade market. Maybe a second round draft pick. Not enough current ability, not enough potential - only potential there is incredibly risky and unlikely to be fulfilled.
The offer to the Nets was insulting.
