Turn In Your Gun To See LeBron

With the Cavs off to such an 11-3 start, a ticket to a game in Cleveland is a hot item and hard to come by. To help you out, Northeast Ohio’s two largest cities have teamed with the local police for a gun exchange program for seats to Cavaliers games.

On Saturday, Cleveland police say 324 firearms were turned in while in Akron, authorities say about 760 guns were added to the stockpile. With LeBron already killing the competition, this is a good look.

One problem is you can proably come by a 9mm cheaper than you could buy an actual ticket.

So you would benefit financially from buying a gun right now.

    Sweet.

    wow

  3. douglalr says:

so if T.I. shows up with all his guns…does he get season tickets?

  4. Tbone says:

where oh where did all the real articles go?

Sure this is an interesting topic, but two paragraphs total?!?!?!

Thankfully we have the ‘read more’ link to make it all better.

Man I miss the old dime

  5. Bondzai says:

So what happens when Jamal Tinsley comes to play?

  6. Sweet English says:

Tbone i’m sick of this man everyone is all over Dime over stupud ‘ish.

The Lebron coverage – Massive, the guy took over if Dime DIDN’T report on that stuff i would have beem mad.

Long Articles – Smack is still here everyday, NBA is still here, i gotta admit though i do miss CGF’s fashion advive (;)) But there is more than a fair share of real reporting and proper articles.

Short Articles like this one – It’s something that is happening in basketball that is intersting. Dime lets us know about it, and then if you wanna make some input and make this post worth reading, then make some input! A comments page is only as interesting as the comments that are made.

At the end of the day, no one is making you read it.

I’m out like hating on Dime.

At the end of the day guys,

Good call, Sweet. It’s almost too early in the season to be putting up 4 paragraph long articles about what’s going on. Remember when Dime put a big one up about how the Mavs were done, or were in trouble? Good to see that they updated their thoughts in Smack today (calling them “white hot”).

Seriously, though, it’s nice to see the Cavs organization branching out like this. Aron, jokes upon jokes about Lebron “killing it”.

Not that Pic again…We need to bury that photo…

In this case i don’t mind LeBron being mentioned yet again…This is a good cause. Hopefully they aren’t just doing this to get bodies in the seats for games against the Thunder, Memphis, and teams that don’t draw as well…

All the NYC coverage was overkill, especially because the Knicks showed last night what they are about and will be about until Dolan and crew figure out how to treat personnel issues…They have no emotional leader on the floor…Nate is the closest, but he isn’t as impactful when he screaming words of encouragement into a guys crotch rather than chest or face…

Love the dude’s energy and game, but he is more of a Battery charger than a guy that takes charge…

  9. Sweet English says:

How about rewarding the youth that never shot anybody?

  10. Tom Toronto says:

Does Stephen Jackson get tickets if he removes his chest tattoo?

  11. JCARR says:

Good try to clean the streets but they prob got more than one gun.
