(Almost) Daily Fantasy – 12/23
You better not be sleepin’ on me…I’m about to leave for the airport, but feel to fire away any questions you may have in the comments section.
Aaron Brooks – I’m two for my last two in pick ups (Boris Diaw was the other). Brooks is killing with Rafer out. Last night Brooks went for 22 points, 4 threes, and 6 dimes. Most importantly, the Rockets have WON all four games that Brooks has subbed in for Rafer. He’s averaging 17 points and 5.5 assists in those five games. Rafer might not get his job back.
Eric Gordon – 40+ more minutes and 19 more points. He’s a must own in all 10 team leagues and above. Am I preaching to the choir at this point?
Jameer Nelson – The Jameericle Express keeps chugging along (that was one of the worst things I’ve ever written by the way). Jameer celebrated being player of the week by dropping 22 on 9 for 9 from the field, including 4 threes, 7 dimes, and 5 boards. Jameer has come a long, long way from being benched for Carlos Arroyo.
Mickael Pietrus – Evidently trying to shake off the rust, Pietrus came out firing last night taking 12 shots in 18 minutes, 8 of them threes (he made 4 of them). He scored 14 points off the bench and should be minutes away from starting again.
Anthony Randolph – The Warriors got blown out, but Anthony Randolph continues to show fantasy potential when he isn’t barking in Nellie’s dog house. He had 11 points, 12 boards, and 3 blocks in 26 minutes last night. Keep in mind, both DeMarcus Nelson and Marcus Williams has played decent minutes last night. That should give you an idea of the quality of game.
Chris Anderson – With 4:43 left in the 2nd quarter, Chris Anderson had 5 blocks. He finished with 11 points and 6 blocks.
Zach Randolph – Big Zach was having a good game when he banged knees with bigger Jake Voskuhl. Jake would make my top 10 list of people I wouldn’t want to bang knees with. Zach should be okay to play this week but we’ll keep an eye on his status.
Marcus Camby – Camby was a post lineup scratch last night because of a death in the family. He should be good to go for his only other game this week.

Hey FD
Word out of LA is Farmar is going under the knife and will be out 8 weeks. Phil is already talking about what he wants in his new back-up PG (I’m guessing it won’t be Sun Yue, the infamous Chinese Magic Johnson)

First of all, Fuck Don Nelson. Worst coach in the league. Seriously, has Nellie Ball ever worked? They beat the Mavs-cool. Hell never win a championship with his stupid small ball running style.
He ruins individual players too because ever one is constantly being rotated in and put of his “dog house”. TOOL!

i know artest is still coming back from an injury, but he will start when he’s completely healed right? he won’t come off the bench? i would try to trade him he if it turns out that he’ll only play 30 minutes a game and can’t get 2 steals and 2 threes with about 16 points 5 rebounds and 3 assists
