(Almost) Daily Fantasy – 12/24

Randy FoyeFoye may not be a PG for long…

Happy Christmas Eve. Here are the Xmas names you need to know…

Rodney Stuckey – Stuckey owners rejoice! 40 points on 15-24 shooting last night. The Wade comparison is back and Stuckey continues to be a breakout player this month. FYI – AI went out with an injured groin last night.

Chris Wilcox – Every once in a while Chris Wilcox will go off for a big game. Last night was one of those tease performances. Wilcox had 19 and 12 but still isn’t worth a pick up. The potential for value is and has always been there. It could easily go unrealized for his NBA career.

Marreese Speights – Speights is like the better Wilcox. I’ve preached the pick up. Last night he had 16 and 6.

Randy Foye – 26 points and 16 boards! The Foye as a PG experiment may be over. The Wolves are committing to Kevin Ollie and even Telfair (16 points – don’t do it!) as their point guards. Foye looked great but is still too inconsistent.

Paul Millsap – No double-double!!! Okay, so a board short. He did injure his knee in the game and although he came back in, he is expected to get an MRI.

Rafer Alston – A little competition never hurts… Unless you’re a fantasy owner. Rafer came back last night and looked great in H-Towns loss to Cleveland. Coincidence that Skip (20 points) after four straight nice performances (and wins) by Aaron Brooks? Brooks had decent back up numbers (10 points, 4 boards, 3 dimes) but not what he had been doing as a starter.

Joel Przybilla – 19 boards! Portland natives will tell you that they knew big Joel had this game and that he was hurt last year but 19 boards and shooting basically 75 percent from the floor? If Oden wasn’t in town, he’d be in the running for steal of the draft.

Andres Nocioni – Noce had 18 and 8 and as usual with the Argentinian, it is all about minutes. He started last night and if he continues to start and get minutes he’ll have real value. The Bulls have not shown a legit commitment to Nocioni in the past.

i know artest is still coming back from an injury, but he will start when he’s completely healed right? he won’t come off the bench? i would try to trade him he if it turns out that he’ll only play 30 minutes a game and can’t get 2 steals and 2 threes with about 16 points 5 rebounds and 3 assists

  2. N T says:

What about Tyrus Thomas ever since Gooden is out? Also, what do you think Krstics value will be in OKC?

  3. Three Stacks says:

Stevie Franchise was traded (to Memphis for picks) way earlier today, but I guess it’s not even worth the news anymore.

Any possible fantasy value? I’d say no, but just want the opinion.

    What’s up Doc?

I got this offer in your standard 9 cat roto league.

Okur & Al Jefferson (giving up)

    For:

    Boozer & Nene

I’m near top of the league in all cats except for FG% where I’m near the bottom of the league. What do you think about this trade?

As for other big men, I got:

    Chandler, hawes and Varejao.

I’m thinking about pull the trigger but not sure how long boozer will be out for since he’s getting his 3rd MRI done this week.

    Merry Christmas!

    Will
