Chicago Zephyrs To Play Lakers Tomorrow

When the Lake Show comes to D.C. tomorrow night, they won’t be playing the Washington Wizards. Instead, rockin’ throwbacks from the 1962-63 season, they’ll be competing against the Chicago Zephyrs.

Honoring the 45th anniversary of Abe Pollin‘s ownership, the Zephyrs were only a team for one season before moving to Baltimore and changing their name to the Bullets. Ironically, much like the fate of the Wizards this season, the Zephyrs came in last place with a record of 25-55.
