Come back here tonight
LeBron James (photo. Nike)When the Cavaliers host the Raptors tonight (NBA TV, 7 p.m. EST), LeBron James has a chance to do something he’s never done before. Two years ago, LeBron set his career-high when he scored 56 points on the Raps in their building. With Toronto playing some atrocious defense during their current four-game losing streak (giving up 114 pppg) and the undefeated-at-home Cavs on an eight-game win streak, all the elements are in place for ‘Bron to challenge that mark.
Come back to DimeMag.com throughout the night, where we’ll be updating you on Cavs/Raptors, as well as the rest of the League’s nine-game schedule.

control says:
Knowing the Raps, they’ll give up 82 points. Chris Bosh will get 45-10-5 and Jose will throw down 15 assists with 0 turn overs. They’ll lose by one after leading by 15 going into the 4th. Chris Bosh will have 2 shots in the 4th quarter.

And when is a game not professional?… Even pre-season or summer league is professional, although those stats dont come over to regular season stats. Playoff games are categorized aside as well and they are proffesional games.

Kobeef says:
This is going to be ugly.
Toronto is playing at an unprecedented level of suckyness and Lebron is really on another level this year.
I propose a new stat for the NBA: PPGAR (Points Per Game Against Raptors)….just so the raps don’t pad player’s stats.
December 9th, 2008 at 6:46 pm
JCARR says:
i believed you for a second…lol
December 9th, 2008 at 6:47 pm
D.H. says:
@kobeef
I thought that stat was reserved for the Thunder . . . dime already touched on that a few days back.

the rocket cat says:
If we’re going down that road, offensive rebounds in the fourth quarter against the Raptors shouldn’t count either.
December 9th, 2008 at 6:53 pm
Austin Burton says:
We should throw the Warriors in there, too. Maybe the Kings.
December 9th, 2008 at 6:56 pm
JCARR says:
Knicks and Wizards in there too

He wont challenge that mark because he doesnt think like that.. Plus he doesnt have that killer instinct.. Some of his best performances have been when hes been taunted by females..
Yeah it aint enough having your peers jaw at you and talk smack, you get your motivation from females..
Plus he might not even play the whole game.. i smell a blowout the way the raps been playing..
He could score 60 and pull down 15 boards if they played the warriors.. JC that team is horrible.. i can smell the stench emanating from Oracle Arena everytime i drive by it..

LakeShow84 says:
i honestly think the warriors have a worst D than the Thunder.. Anyone notice how big men have had CARREER highs in pts and boards against them??
Marc Gasol looked like Shaq against those fools for shits sake..

Im a big raptors fan and even I know we’re going to be the fucking court jesters compared to LeBron and the Cavs right now. I mean the raps could get 15pts15asst from Calderon, 35pts10rbs from Bosh, 20pts15rbs from Oneal, and 20pts10rbs from Bargnani and STILL LOSE.

Dagomar says:
The Cavs look so much better already it’s not even funny. And Lebron isn’t even shooting well. LOL
December 9th, 2008 at 7:28 pm
Dagomar says:
The Cavs look like a complete team with few holes and great chemistry; the Raps look like a bunch of confused guys who don’t really like playing with each other. How did this happen? The Raps have had great chemistry for years now….
