Devin Harris Does ‘Em Dirty
Devin HarrisAfter a ridiculous first half against his old squad, Devin Harris did ‘em dirty in the IZOD Center tonight, finishing with 41 points, (14-25 from the floor, 5-9 from beyond the arc, 8-8 from the line), 13 assists, three rebounds and three steals as the Nets crushed the Mavericks 121-97.
I’ve said it before that Harris is a lock for the All-Star game. Where do you see him amongst the elite PGs in the League today?

Yoooo says:
You have Chris Paul, Tony Parker, Deron Williams, Chauncey… And I guess he does fall in 5th as he’s clearly having a waaaaaaay better season than Nash and any other old ass pg’s u wanna put in there. Baron is having a bad season. So is Andre Miller. So this season id take him 5th or 4th if u wanna take into consideration Deron hasn’t played much

Richard Wellner says:
Quest you lost credibility when you put Iverson as #1. Good night.

Dagomar says:
He’s in the top 10. One of the better scoring points in the league today, and amazingly underrated on defense (not withstanding the English streetballer who schooled him this summer). I have him just behind guys like Paul or Williams. This season he’s about as good as Nash (though Nash is on the decline) and above guys like Calderon, Rose, etc.

dLee says:
Devin Harris is a top-5 point guard, just not this season.
1. Chris Paul
2. Tony Parker
3. Deron Williams
4. Chauncey Billups
5. Steve Nash
Yes, I know Steve Nash is on the decline but he is STILL getting it done, at 33 or however old he is.
Within the next few years, when Nash/Billups retire and T. Parker going hitting 30, Harris will unquestionably be a top-5 pg
Top-5 PG, 2010
1. Chris Paul
2. Deron Williams
3. Tony Parker
4. Derrick Rose
5. Devin Harris
I left out Rondo because by then he would have about 3 rings or so.

Johnny Knox says:
Im going with
CP3
Chauncy
Tony Parker
Deron Williams
Devin Harris
Harris is playing better than d-will right now, but williams hasnt been healthy, but I believe he is still better

the cynic says:
Harris is number 5. Nash is killing the suns, everyone wants to blame shaq, but Nash is the problem. Without Marion covering up Nash’s complete lack of defensive awareness he is getting abused, and his yo-yo dribbling on offense is killing the team with turnover. If Nash doesn’t understand that he less athletic then ever the suns won’t even make the playoffs.
Unlike Harris and the Nets who are goiong to the playoffs because Harris is killing it without Avery yelling in his ear every 24 seconds

D-Harris is Top 5 right now! He has shown so much potential.

T-Dub says:
Top 5 PG. He’s been attacking defenses.
And he delivered to Cuban the middle finger tonight. That’s what’s important.
December 20th, 2008 at 2:37 am
Sacc says:
He’s not an elite pg yet but he’s getting there. He may be top 5 at this point in the season but we’ll see how he holds up and if he can carry his team in the playoffs because that’s what elite players do.

baraks says:
Cuban really messed up on this one. However, Harris wouldn’t get the chance to put up these kinds of numbers with Irk and Jet on his team. Dallas sucks. I’m guessing Irk gets traded within a couple of years when Cuban realizes that he can’t win with the current team that he has.

Richard Wellner says:
Be fair to Dirk. He is pure awesome. It is not his fault that no one ever put a team around him.
I hate Jason Kidd, and am glad that D. Har torched him. Scolded him.

original2k9 says:
he is already better than parker IMO (without taking the rings into consideration)

Chaos says:
Devin is not quite top 10 yet but he is on his way. he is scoring at will and is a great passer. almost in the TP mold but a better passer and can be a better defender

baller5013 says:
Devin Harris is one of the most complete PG’s in the league period. He plays D, and he scores and gets his people involved. CP3 DWill TP are the only PG’s ahead of him. If he doesn’t make the all star team I will be MAD as hell because the east has not one PG that can hold up.
