In other news: Bigfoot spotted at local shopping mall

If you didn’t believe what you read in Smack today, here’s video evidence: The OKC Thunder not only won a game, they did it against an ’08 playoff team. How long before interim coach Jay Triano is replaced by another interim?

    This is just sad.

  2. SIdney Deane says:

“it’s about making and missing shots”… or you could just go to the rim every once and a while where there is more likely hood of a basket/foul/good play, instead of shooting threes and fadeaways all game…

  3. jnuh says:

Does losing to the worst team in the history of organized basketball automatically make YOU the worst team in the history of organized basketball?

    The answer, sadly, is yes.

  4. Kobeef says:

    something needs to change.
this team was built to be in the playoffs and the gm is not going to watch his fan base lose interest..

  5. mbar says:

Im fed up with the raps! Some people think a coaching change would help, some people thing a trade will solve all our problems, but its so much more. Are there any hearts available? Raps need a transplant!! They are the softest, un-intense, garbage basketball team i’ve ever seen!

  6. barons beard says:

Mason dropped the hammer on Moon, that was nasty

  7. F.L.A.S.H. says:

Bosh always gets credit for lack of ego, and conversely, Kevin Garnett gets an earful for, well, giving ppl earfuls. Both legit arguments, but despite being my second least favorite player in the league (first would be Paul Pierce), Garnett actually managed to impact every player from top to bottom on the C’s, Bosh can’t do that right now, and probably never will, but that’s just me nitpicking on their best player. The Raps’ biggest problem is the amount of soft white guys on their team, notice I said SOFT white guys, why could’nt colangelo find himself some Luis Scola’s or Andres Nocioni’s or Matt Haprings, y does it have to be the softest c*nts in the game like Jason Kapono and Andrea Bargnani? Better yet this team needs some jason maxielle/leon powe/brandon bass quick!

  8. Talented says:

bout damn time, i thought they was bout to do they best detroit lions impression. they looked aight tho. who was that dunkin on everyone along wit KD?

  9. T-Dub says:

Talented that was Desmond Mason. Good win for the thunder. that felt like a college game out there.

Who cares about the raptors at this point? At the rate they’re going, it’s Bosh to NY come free agency.

    Somewhere, Donnie Walsh is smiling.

  10. Vince says:

funny, desmond mason still has his hops, and still is a ridicilous dunker, but look at his arms.

remember how he shoots ft’s? his shoulder is just fucked up (it was his shoulder right? not his elbow?) but the way he shoots his ft’s, you see he’s dunking a bit strange too, he barely bends his arms. its just his arm straight up on every dunk

  11. SteveNash says:

they should include the raps in the dunk contest… seems like the dunkers make em quicker when the raps are on the floor

  12. Brown says:

    @Kobeef

The fan base has already lost interest. The Raps don’t have many tradeable assets, so they’ll suck at least for the remainder of the season. Maybe they’ll actually put their lottery pick to good use this time?

  13. Richard Wellner says:

Yo go check out Adam Morrison’s picture on Yahoo.

Do you see the pony tail??

  14. nick says:

raps need a slashing swingman asap. that is the main problem, that and the lack of perimeter defense. funny how they were a better team with tj ford and calderon and a lack of size. now that they have the size, they seem to be losing worse, what gives.

  15. 2 Easy says:

OKC? OKC dog? Dark times for us Toronto fans. Leafs are a ways away. The less said about the raps the better rite now. The blue jays are stuck behind the yanks and sox and we’re gonna get the bills. Im thinkin of givin up on bein a sports fan or movin *sigh*

  16. 2 Easy says:

Jamario should be doin that to cats not gettin it done to him. This jus aint rite

  17. QQ says:

    @ Wellner:

We’ll just leave you while you ‘check out’ NBA guys. Easy with the man love there, son.

Jermaine is injured. The interim is worse than the coach he replaced. The team has no heart, possibly a residue from TMac and Vince Carter, who might have left some of their soft ass DNA in the home court and is now spreading on everybody. This team is just SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD.

  18. PicknRoll says:

I’m actually enjoying all these teams still tanking it after putting all the blame on their coaching. Karma is a bitch, ladies and gentlemen.

  19. Richard Wellner says:

Yea but you clicked the link, QQ, to check out the pony tail.

  20. Uknow says:

thers a reason Jamario Moon was a 28 year old rookie. Hes not an NBA level talent. 11th or 12th man on a good team at best.

Bargnani is a BUST. No more debate.

Colangelo is always tryin to find these unknown players to make himself look like a genius. What happened to good old talented NCAA freshmen and sophmores?

Situation is getting uglier real fast.
