Josh Smith, and the blocks, are back. Here is some last minute fantasy news that you need to take into consideration when entering your lineup.
Kevin Martin/John Salmons - Kevin Martin is hoping to play Tuesday night. He’s clearly very close and normally the risk may be worth the reward. Here’s the catch - the Kings play only two games this week. That’s a huge risk to take. Salmons, who is questionable, is in the same situation.
Josh Smith - Josh Smith is expected to play at least two games this week and sounds good to go. Get him in your lineup.
Stephon Marbury - The Knicks officially sent Steph home and it looks like he could remain there for quite some time, unless he’s willing to take a legit pay cut. The pick up does not seem as urgent as it did about 10 hours ago.
Josh Howard - J-Ho went through a full practice and according to the Dallas Morning News, he’s going to try play this week, and as soon as tomorrow. Still feels slightly risky to me (see: Michael Redd), but the fact that he practiced is a good sign. Start him unless you have a solid alternative.
Carlos Boozer/AK47 - The Booze Cruise made it’s way on the Jazz road trip and although Boozer is listed as doubtful tomorrow night, he could give it a go by weeks end. Kirilenko is also joining the team on the road trip but is also listed as doubtful for tomorrow night.
Carmelo Anthony - Good to go. Start em if you got em.
Stephen Jackson - Captain Jack is tough as nails but he is most likely out for at least one game this week due to a hand injury.
