LeBron’s Lesson to Chris Bosh’s Girl
Raptors fans better hope that Chris Bosh‘s girlfriend didn’t travel with the team to Cleveland tonight. But if she did, hopefully she learned her lesson when these two teams met north of the border last year. After LeBron went 6-19 during the first three quarters, CB4′s girl and cousin piped up and let him know just how bad he looked. That set LBJ off, as he set a franchise-record 22 points during the 4th quarter, giving Bosh’s comrades way more than they could handle.
By the end of the night, LeBron was telling the girls that it was “your fault” that the Raptors lost. LBJ even gave them the game ball.
But it’s not like this is the only time that LeBron has tortured Toronto. His career high of 56 points came against the Raps. A 56-point, 10-rebound, 5-assist night wasn’t enough for the Cavs to get a win, but it was a record-setting night for James and for the NBA, as he became to youngest player to ever score 50. James was 20 at the time.
Come back here tonight, as we’ll be keeping you updated on everything happening in the Cavs/Raptors game, and the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden.

I remember that. It’s only a handful of great ones that can actually pull something like that off from a heckler as motivation stand point and just cut it on.
A few that come to mind.
Barkley
Kobe
Jordan
Reg. Miller
LeBron
Shaq
I am sure it’s prolly 5 to 10 others but that is a special thing to just cut it on off motivation and bust somebody or a team up.
She most def. betta stay home or if she is there….shuddup!

I love that rivalry…Bron Bron vs. Chris Bosh’s girl and her friend…that’s so dope. They were saying how they’re all friends, and they hang out together, so they were heckling him from the stands and he gave them the BIZNISSS
To me, those rivalries are more fun to watch, ’cause there’s no hard feelings, it’s just buddies giving each other a hard time.

Awesome stuff – I remember that game as well,
No reason to give LeBron, Kobe, etc. guys of that nature a reason to try harder you will get burned,
Reminds of back in the day when MJ and the Bulls were playing the Heat – Glen Rice, Willie Anderson and some other hacks were jawing at how they were going to beat MJ, blah blah – Mike then proceeded to torch them of course, turned to their coach at the time, dont remember who it was, might have been Ron Rothstein and basically said next time let his team know to shut up,
Freakin classic

If I were Mike Brown. I’d buy tickets for a couple hecklers of the opposing team to lay into Lebron for every damn game.

I think the rivals issue in the current NBA sucks. anyone remember how no matter what the circumstances, chuck person would destroy the celtics? (the rifleman)
I also remember glenn rice hitting the bulls up for 56 (or so) with the heat.
part of the problem is that all the ‘starts’ in the nba right now are so chummy with each other. they all go to each others’ charity events, apparently if you play the hornets, CP will let your best players stay at his house, and so forth.
could you imagine charles oakley or x-mcdaniel doing something like that?
nope.

I remember watching that game. Didn’t know whether to laugh or cry; Lebron’s my favourite player but I live in Toronto.
Gotta love how the Raps are always at the receiving end of shit like this. 81 points anyone?

Dagomar makes you wonder what will be the next feat to be laid on the Raps.
30 Assist or something.

I’m not sure that I like the implication of this post — is this just another sinister, veiled insult, directed by the editors of Dime against LeBron James? Is this just further proof of Dime’s institutional bias against LeBron?

That was a great game and it’s one fo those games that people will be talking about LOOONNNGGGG into the future, one of those anycdote games that you will tell your kids about after you tell them how many rings he won and poitns he averaged. Like the flu game.
