Pick Your Kicks: LeBron v. ‘Melo

‘Bron or ‘Melo?

LeBron and Carmelo’s signature shoes have been big hits due to their large fan bases. Nike and Jordan Brand both have designed some hot kicks for their respective guys.

I have played in both, and am definitely a fan. This year, the Zoom LeBron VI is a shoe that you can wear on and off the court. I actually have a pair on right now. The Melo M5, performance wise, is what I am exactly looking for in a basketball sneaker.

‘Bron or ‘Melo?

Some people like to look good while getting buckets, while others are hounds for what technical aspects a shoe has. It all really comes down to personal preference. So…which would you rock?

   Just bought the new Melos as the secondary hoops shoe to my new Kobes,

   The LeBrons felt to chunky, not as slick as Melo’s

   But the South Beach colorway LeBrons are sick

   In any other siuation I was choose the Lebron’s. I love Nike’s zoom technology and the lebron’s just lok better on and off the court. But in these two particular colorways the Melo’s are killing the Bron’s. The Melo’s kinda look like the Jordan XIII’s

   i’m going with Melo’s shoe, but the pic could be a bit brighter. you can’t really get a good feel for the Zoom VI.

   In this color – the Melos are SICK. So I would throw them on in a heartbeat.

   BUT

   LBJ’s are versatile. I’ll wear them on the court and then to the mall. So I’ll take the King in this one.

    To me LeBrons perform better. Great ankle stability, although yes, they are clunky.
