Man leave franchise alone. As soon as he gets on the court, he makes a difference. Leadership, talent, whatever. This trade makes sense for Memphis, they get there pick back for next years draft, and a veteran who just needs to get some burn and get back in his funk. He won’t be as good as he was, but he isn’t washed up neither. It’s about time this trade went down for stevie, he was never gonna get the chance in Houston. D-Miles and Franchise could resurrect their careers in Memphis, and we didn’t give up anything to let them. This is win-win

Did some idiot claim that one of the best cities in the Northern Hemisphere is somehow worse than living in Utah (which, if you’ve ever been, isn’t half bad. I’d take Moab and Zion National Forest over most any mainland retreat)??? Son, you just lost all credibility with that statement.

All this trade does is clear a roster spot for Mutombo. The picks are both 2nd rounders and won’t mean much. Grizzlies get Francis’ expiring contract, a 2009 2nd rounder for their rebuilding movement and some cash. While Houston gets there backup center for the inevitable Yao injury and a conditional 2011 2nd round pick to make the trade an actual trade.

Merry Xmas Stevie, has anybody fallen from the top as quickly as him? That could be a good article, Dime!

Vancouver is definitely not worse than living in Utah. Vancouver is way more diverse, has a coupla good sneaker shops, and the food is WAY better than it in Utah.

I don’t even think most of y’all have even been to Vancouver.
