That’s Gortat, Not Borat
With Dwight Howard missing another game, that meant another start for 6-foot-11, 240-pound Marcin Gortat. As Austin previewed the game, Marcin Gortat vs. Air & Opportunity, his prediction has been spot on.
But when Austin wrote, “Don’t be surprised if Gortat posts at least a double-double, maybe more,” I guarantee he didn’t mean in the first half. After 24 minutes, the Polish prince has 10 points, nine boards and two blocks. Wow.
Note: His career high is 12 points and 11 boards registered against Washington last April.

Damn. I have Dwight and I can’t justify dropping someone else from my roster for production in MAYBE one more game.
I’m tempted to though.

Kudabeen says:
Dwight Howard said that Gorat was the strongest guy he plays against and that he felt Gorat was ready to come in and contribute. Stan Van Gundy just seems reluctant to give guys a chance. I’d rather see him in defensively than Brian Cook…
