Could Smush make it back in the L?

After realizing that Goran Dragic isn’t exactly the heir apparent for Steve Nash just yet, the Suns are looking to add a point guard and have until Wednesday to do so. With only 12 guys currently on the roster, the Suns need to sign a player to reach the 13-player roster minimum.

Suns Vice President of Basketball Operations David Griffin is organizing a Monday workout for four to six point guards. The group will include a mix of D-League and ex-NBA players, possibly including Troy Hudson and Damon Stoudamire.

Some of the other D-League names that have surfaced are journeymen Smush Parker, Eddie Gill and leading assist man Walker Russell Jr.

   I am available…I’m Canadian too, so I’d be a perfect backup for Steve Nash. More suited to play the 3 or 4 in the NBA, but I could pull it off better than Smush Parker.

   Just because you have the same vertical as Steve Nash doesn’t qualify you for the job.

   I’m white, Canadian and wouldn’t mind taking a pay cut for a few weeks so I could catch a few NBA games from a good seat. I am more than qualified for what the Suns need!

    They need to get Stephon Marbury, he had his best years in Phoenix (even tho it was under the Run & Gun offense) if not him, Dee Brown recently got waved by the Wizards he will create for others, or Walker Russell Jr is leading the D-league in assists so scoop him up to give Stevie some rest. C’mon its not THAT tuff

    I say the go for Damon Stoudamire… i would love to see Smush Parker in the L again, but he’s not a true PG.

    I would trade Dragic for a bag of chips.

    Any team that picks up Smush Parker, who would probably be the worst player in the league if he got back in, will get me heckling them and hating on them.

    Not sure how that idiot even gets in the league, he’s horrible.

    @weng- i think he’s still playing in Italy. It would be a good college ball debate- who had the best conference tournment in the history of college ball. Childress averaged 35 and 7 dimes and hit the game winner in the championship game(under 4 seconds left)

    Yeah take him then Suns.. Then we can smash on him and Shaq.. Dude was coo and all but if you got a coach who has won NINE, 9, NINA rings you better try your damed hardest to “understand” what he is saying.. i couldve reach through the TV and strangled him when he said that shit..

    Other than a steal in a playoff game he never did shit for us.. Too streaky and too hoodratized..
