You can’t guard J.R. Smith
While the Nuggets were smoked by the Spurs last night, J.R. Smith‘s good side outweighed the bad, as he posted 15 points and a team-high 10 rebounds. Example: This play where he puts George Hill in the blender. Usually the Spurs’ team defense is impeccable, but if you’re gonna put a rookie out there on an island against J.R. with the floor spread, this is what happens.

Decent move, nothing special. I wouldnt say “You Cant Guard Him.” I’d say he needs to do that more often

I think teams let JR get in one nasty cram or nice shot in at least once a game. It gets to his head and he’s jacking shots wildly for the rest of the game. That’s gotta be in the scouting report. haha

I caught the end of yesterday’s game..about 9 min. of the end and JR was just pulling up whenever he got the ball. Reggie even said “This isn’t even basketball being played.” after one of JR’s jumpers.
So yeah…go ahead JR. Give us one for the highlight reel…do it early.

Don’t ever put JR’s name in the same sentence with Derrick Rose please. Derrick Rose is a basketball player, JR Smith is a jacker.
Nuggets looked like the team from last year minus the running that let them put up points. One pass and a shot every possesion, gross.

Did you guys watch the whole game? During the final minutes, JR was bricking shot after shot, not even looking to pass. I can’t recall him having too many good plays other than this one.
