Get Ready Phoenix

Yesterday our man AP was out in Cali for the release of Kobe Bryant’s fourth signature shoe by Nike, the Zoom Kobe IV. Aron had amazing coverage out there in La La land. It seemed like he was right next to Kobe the whole time.

Back here in NYC, it was raining like crazy and colder than a polar bear’s toenail. Our day in the office was pretty uneventful…until I opened up a bag and saw Kobe’s All-Star game exclusives. After already beeing geeked up over Aron’s photos of the Mamba’s new shoe, this was just the cherry on top.

I can’t wait for Februray to roll around so I can try and get my hands on a pair of these joints. I was a huge fan of the Hyperdunk, and many of the exclusive colorways they came out with, but the Zoom Kobe IV is even lighter and I think I am going to try and play in a low-top this up coming NRF season . There is no official release date for these but I am guessing they will drop around All-Star Weekend in Phoenix.
