kidd possibly gets his jersey retired by the mavs because he started his career there and will probably end it there… and as a hof lock, some respect might be due

kg’s gets retired by the celts because before last season the celtics were shittest team in the league with an 18 loss streak. in one season he made the celts relevant. you replace kg with somebody like elton brand, you’re not getting a ring without kg’s fire pumpin that team.
