Knicks Speak Out for Eddy Curry

While offices everywhere (or maybe just here) were dropping “Look at me, Dave” all day yesterday, Eddy Curry’s teammates were speaking out about the situation to the media.

    LOOK AT ME DAVE

  2. fallinup says:

I’ll say it again. Eddy doesn’t deserve this.

But damn. This is a funny story. Still waiting for my “Look at me Dave, wanna touch it?” T Shirts.

dantoni couldnt say anything a little bit supportive……???

you can not like a player bc hes bad, but dont leave him out to dry when his character and reputation is on the line

  4. PALakerFan says:

So his teammates stick up for him and his dickhead coach says no comment? I hate D’Antoni! I know everyone thrives in his run and gun system, but you gotta have your player’s back. What a jerkoff!

    No pun intended.

  5. fallinup says:

    “What a jerkoff!”

    Look at me, PALakerFan…..haha

    I had to do it.

  6. D'Antonio says:

D’Antoni’s name is actually spelled D’Antonio in this video. Looks a TV intern is about to get fired…

  7. Kudabeen says:

    Coach was in straight deny and avoid mode…LOL…”I I I don’t know…”

Just a weird story and thing to get caught up in…Didn’t he get duck taped and rod in his house a few years back too? Eddy need to spend more time in the gym…It will be better for him if not for anything else but to help him avoid the nonsense…

  8. PALakerFan says:

The bottom line is Eddy Curry has the worst, most unmovable contract in the NBA. D’Antoni’s best move would be to stick up for his player, and play his fat ass as much as possible in order to increase his value. Only then can you hope to trade him.

  9. Lee says:

Maybe he doesn’t go near the gym to avoid all these gay rumors !!

  10. the Heckler says:

    somewhere….john amechi is smiling

  11. rodnets (XBOX or Bust) says:

maybe its time when starbury starts bringing stories of e-city traveling in the backseat of his van, to make things worse.

  12. Sanpitch says:

I agree with post 3, but don’t let that detract from all the Eddy humor that goes on in an Eddy post.

As far as worst immovable contracts I would put Rashard Lewis as #1 (in 2012/13 he’ll be making $23.79 mill with no team option or any opt out, just guaranteed), but Curry is fighting Gilbert Arenas for #2.

  13. PALakerFan says:

Arenas and Lewis have value though. They’re both good players and will be for years. Eddy’s the laziest player in the league. NOBODY wants him. It’s too bad Jerry Jones or Al Davis don’t own basketball teams, so that Eddy could be traded.

  14. Talented says:

Hey uhh..hey dave…look at me dave..lol naw 4real tho, this was messed up. I hope Eddy Curry dont get down like this for real..cuz wow.

  15. Austin Burton says:

I think D’Antoni’s no-comment stems from the fact that he probably hasn’t gotten to know Curry at all since getting the job. You could tell Lee and Harrington actually KNOW Eddy, which is why they could defend him. D’Antoni sounds like he didn’t make an effort since he figured he either wouldn’t be playing the guy or he’d be traded by now.

  16. dukesman2000 says:

I think David Lee wants to touch it

  17. the cynic says:

Am I the only who thinks playing Eddy Curry will decrease his trade value even further?

  18. JoeCozi says:

sup with that italian dude they signed?? haven’t heard anything about him…
