Monta Ellis: “Let Me Play!”
Monta Ellis’ wish, which you’ll hear him scream in the clip below, will be granted tonight at 10:30 EST against the Cavaliers. If he’s 100%, he could very well be the second most athletic player on the floor.

A two step dunk is not really amazing by NBA standards. I’d bet most of the playes in the NBA can do that.

that clip is supposed to demonstrate that he is healthy… I don’t know how he’d mesh with Crawford and I could see the Warriors making some trades…

I think Crawford and Ellis can work in the same way that Baron and Ellis worked (Crawford as the 1, Ellis as the 2).
Crawford is actually a better match with Ellis because (in theory) Crawford can defend bigger SG’s.
Regardless, a Crawford and Ellis probably have the best handles of any NBA backcourt team. Maybe not Stuckey and AI…

Eh, pretty sure Diddy is a better defender than Crawford. Infact, the only time I hear “Crawford” and “defense” together, it’s usually followed with “none, no, nada, are you kidding me?, etc.”.
When Monta gets up to speed. Nellie is gonna have this team running small and fast 24/7. And they’ll have shootouts with every team in the league. And with that, GS could easily average around 120ppg. Too bad other team will probably avg. 150ppg. haha

Maggette is more athletic than Ellis (although much older, so perhaps his hops/quickness have declined since a few years ago)

With Crawford, Ellis, S-Jack, Maggette, Belinelli (sp), Azubuike on the roster, they need 4 balls on the court to get enough shots off

B-Dizzle is a better passer and defender then Crawford, but he also dominates the ball while being a terrible shooter. Crawford is much more explosive scorer and a much better shooter. Ellis and Crawford will make a sic backcourt. Hopefully the return of Ellis means we see less shots from Jackson and less ball handling
