yeah, the ‘worst’ part about all of this, is that the jazz media relations were emailing jazz blogs to post links / hype up this contest. back when i was blogging i got one, and it was funny. i deleted it immediately.

actually the ‘worst’ part about all of this is that the jazz players (apparently) were going to choose the winning song, and this one was the best out of all of them.

btw, i love how people have this connection in their mind to the utah jazz and mormons. how many players/coaches on the jazz are mormon? that’s right, zero.

tom chambers, danny ainge and shawn bradley are mormons, and save for chambers at the end of his career, none of them played for the jazz.

additionally, there are more mormons in cali than in utah. making fun of other groups / colors / faiths is wrong . . . no one says that all orlando magic fans are 60 year old retired jews, do they? but mormons are the last great hope for intollerance. you’d think that people would grow up, america has with a black president — yet so many people are free to be bigots over the anonymous internet.

and for the record, i’ve been a jazz fan since 1987-1988, never been to utah, and am not a mormon.

That type of prejudice and ignorance is not ridiculous at all. People just don’t like Utah in general, and it’s not even that general dislike people have for the Spurs because they have been so successful. Might be the zealot mormons starting cults and shit all through Utah that people don’t like, I don’t know what it is, but that hate is there.

i’m not mormon, and in fact i’ve never been to utah, but i’m a long time jazz fan. maybe there are no “positive utah posts” because jazz fans can’t be bothered to respond to your ridiculous prejudice and ignorance.

I don’t know if that D-Bizz Oh No kid is YOUNGFED, since word I heard is YOUNGFED looks like Alfonso Riberio, not Souljaboy. Maybe souljaboy AND D-Bizz are both YOUNGFED’s cousins, that is why he has to defend em both w/ his life.
