This Guy Has Hops
Up until Jan 14th you can vote for the last participant in this year’s 2009 Sprite Slam Dunk Contest. Now, if voting was open to guys not in the League mine would probably go to this dude, Guy Dupuy out of France. After watching this video I am convinced he’s a better dunker than T-Dub…
That is just insane. Rudy Fernandez, Russell Westbrook, and Joe Alexander would have their work cut out for them if Dupuy was allowed to enter the Dunk Contest. I personally think Guy could win it too.
Should non-NBA athletes be allowed to enter the Dunk Contest? Could a dude like Guy win it all?

he does one dunk . . . i think you guys showed someone better last time . . . i emailed Mark Cuban a couple of years ago to get some corporate sponsors into the dunk contest - i.e. the Shoe Companies - and have them put up $1M or something where the dunkers will be sponsored by each company . . . the winning dunker will donate the $1M to a charity of their choice . . . think about the pub, think about the dunkers, think about the possibilities . . Considering all of the “flight brothers” guys lost to high rizer on city slam, yes i’m lookin at you easy jumper, air bama and rude boi, can we please stop with the secluded dunkin in the gym videos. First off dunkin don’t really matter if u cant ball (no offense to the harold miners of the world), secondly until u do it on the big stage against big names then who cares. “yea i can do all that and i’m 6′5 boreline 6′6…as a matter of fact i had a dunk contest for hoop it up in nyc last weekend and did a reverse between the legs (jumped from 1 sided and did a between the legs on the other) as just my first dunk…right now i’m workin on a 360 between the legs but i cant get my timing right…..as for makin sure its 38, yea the staff at my college measure the whole teams so i’m pretty sure, its even higher when i’m running since its 38 off 2 steps…oh yea on a personal note be careful with jumpsoles, they can mess up your knees just as easily as they can give you hops…make sure u stretch alot before u use them because them and ankle weights tear muscles in ur knee if u dont…also if your into basketball check my site :house of mercy:

Don’t know who your arguing with and about but I think we’ve done very well. We have yet to do any shows in an “empty” high school gyms and we’ve done a lot more than YouTube…..and the players make a pretty decent chunk of change off of our YouTube that has over 20 Million views…
I don’t get the arguments, Just seems like your not happy to see it, I thought you liked dunks? Maybe not.
I suppose it’s your right to your opinion but what happened to if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it at all, I think this thread could have gone without your comment Yebron, but I respect your opinion and thanks for your support.
Thanks to everyone for the comments, We’d love to see Guy make an appearance at the NBA all-star weekend, while we know it’s 99.9% sure he will not be in the actual dunk contest, It would be cool to get him out there and have him show his talent.

I think that Golden Child is better than Dupuy, but thats just personal preference. The dunk contest in London that TFB has on youtube is the greatest dunk contest I have ever seen - it even eclipses the year with Vince, Franchise, and TMac. Plus all the cats were under 6′3…
