Corey Maggette Travels 6 Times In One Play

This is amazing. Make sure to check out the little notes on the side of the video, which illustrate all six of Corey Maggette‘s steps on this play. Does this count as a crab dribble?

  1. karizmatic says:

lol that’s not a crab dribble, that’s a lobster dribble. Or better yet an octopus dribble. But I guess you would have to travel 8 times for an octopus dribble huh?

  2. Tbone says:

    this is terrible
I can’t stand the NBA refs
I say fire them all and replace them all with college refs
Their heads have gotten wayyyyyyyyyyyy too big

  3. JA says:

They let so much walking go in the NBA, it’s sad.

  4. Heckler...formerly 'yallallreadyknow' says:

    shameful and disgusting.

but maggette has been doing that his entire career.

  5. E$ says:

If they called travel everytime, the games would take 3hrs

  6. ToAn says:

and he has the nerve to argue with the refs after that call…what is he telling them? : “i just travelled 6 times and commited a foul and you blow your whistle? are you retarted?”

  7. Rafa23 says:

    @ E$

LMAO. You definitely dont get the whole point.

  8. rodnets says:

he definitely wants to “walk out” of the bad porn nick

  9. Prof. TX says:

They knew it didn’t matter because it was Magette, was going to turn it over anyway. It’s like trying to figure out if Shaq’s toe was on the three point line, it’s not like the shot is going in.

  10. djKianoosh says:

this is really bad.. i thought they said they would clean this up a couple years ago.. I remember reggie miller and allen iverson would do this all the time. one time, AI got the ball a good 2 feet under the 3 point line, and by the time he was done adjusting his pivot feet, yes feet, he was completely behind the 3 point line. LOL i love AI, but dang, that’s just wrong.

are the refs taught to look at the defender instead of the feet? there has to be an explanation for this

  11. Jah says:

    LOL @ Prof. TX!

That was some horrible officiating right there, though.

  12. Mamba says:

Wow! That has to be one of the worst cases I have ever seen. Forget the crab dribble that was a full on shuffle! LMAO at him taking down the opposing player and then looking to the ref for relief! Sometimes I feel like traveling in the NBA is similar to holding in the NFL, they really could call it a lot more than they do.

But thats a close second to the biggest sham of the night; which was without a doubt the pair of fouls called on Granger and Bron. That ish was crazy! Way to let the players play at the end.

  13. ticktock6 says:

That headline is hilarious enough, and I can’t even see the video because I’m at work. Haha!

  14. Marcus says:

Those are a salsa steps pattern!

Bad Porn is the perfect nickname

  17. Scott says:

@ E$, dude they take approx 2 and a half hours now, whats an extra half hour? lol

  18. djKianoosh says:

haha.. that’s a good one.. that’s the Salsa Dribble.

  19. lifep says:

I thought I was watching Dancing With the Stars

  20. Notorious says:

Crazy, the worst part is seeing the Ref stare at him the ENTIRE time and not call a thing. Watch the slow mo and focus on the ref’s head, he watches it develop right in front of his face and calls nothing??? WTF?!?!

  21. what? says:

Man, i wish the NBA was played the same way as a College game

  22. YOUNGFED..."Wooooooowwwww" says:

I don’t know why yall trippin’ he didn’t travel thats his new move called “His drink and his 6 step” Now everybody sing along while watching the video.

  23. LakeShow84 says:

Lol that was the funniest thing i seen all morning..

  24. The Bloke says:

come on. don’t all act like this is amazing. almost every player travels a couple of times every game and gets away with it. d-wade travels on every spin move, rip takes like 18 steps after he catches a ball in motion…they just all do it

  25. Spliff 2 My Lou says:

Looked like a C Walk to me. I think he spelled out ‘overpaid’.

  26. marcus says:

wow. It’s shit like this that really makes me want to not pay attention to the NBA anymore.

    ridiculous.

  27. kevin k says:

yea the nba reffing is terribad but, if they called every single play, the game will seriously last 3-4 hours.

Also for you haters out there… it’s really difficult to officiate. I help ref some rec leagues and trust me, stuff goes by way too fast for you to call everything and that’s a rec league. think about the speed of the nba… 1 way to fix this is have more than 3 refs where some are designated to check only the players feet and stuff but…

  28. yoda says:

and then every one is wondering why nba players get whistles in FIBA competition.

  29. dagwaller says:

Hahahaha classic. I agree that calling every foul would make the game last forever. It’s like in football – you know that holding happens on EVERY play, but unless the ref is right there looking at it, no use in getting upset about it.

Speaking of football, why are there like 10 refs on the field for that, but basketball still only gets a few?! Can’t we get one dedicated travel guy or something?

  30. E$ says:

Scott, this is a WestCoast game, do you know how late that would be for central/East timezone bball fans?

  31. David Brandon says:

    @ spliff,

man, why was i thinkin the EXACT same thing!! hahaha! i think i even saw him dust the chalk off his nikes and everything…

  32. doc (i like kobe AND bron) says:

These refs are terrible. They got to many old ass men out there and dicksuckers trying to be cool with the players. They need a change to the whole system.

  33. Drink the Haterade (KB24 Chip 09) says:

High school you get no steps, college is one and NBA you can walk all you want

  34. Chaos says:

that was some serious bad porn right there man. how the hell does the ref miss that crap man. them cats need to be fired!

  35. dan k says:

Refs for the game were: Matt Boland , Mark Ayotte , Bob Delaney

That looks like Bob Delaney at the bottom of the screen ignoring the first four travels…
