Filthy!
TMAC can still get nice with it

mapletown says:
Frustrating how dude can’t stay healthy. He could easily be the 2nd or 3rd best sg/sf after Kobe and/or Lebron.

karizmatic says:
Yes!!!!! Love to see T-Mac get up and do his thing!!! He looked at Thomas like don’t sleep homie! Don’t sleep!!!
February 4th, 2009 at 9:59 am
real deal says:
and thats at 65-70 % if he can get to 85% for the playoffs they can advance in the playoffs this year. they are just too good IF everyone is healthy

LOL @ don’t sleep. T-Mac is the sleepiest looking player in the league.
February 4th, 2009 at 10:40 am
karizmatic says:
T-Mac is the sleepiest looking dude though. But he can still bang on you!!!
February 4th, 2009 at 10:45 am
Anthony says:
If T-Mac gets to 100%, the rest of the league is in danger. When healthy, he’s on of the top shooting guards in the league. I think his recent struggles weren’t really caused by the injuries, it’s more like he thought he was hurt.
February 4th, 2009 at 10:51 am
SK says:
He barely got up on that one though. Still nice to see.
February 4th, 2009 at 10:59 am
CAVS says:
come on fellas… that was one of the weakest dunks of tmac’s career… do you guys remember tmac, the real one, where he would blow past dudes and cram on there heads!?!?!?!
That move was in slow motion, and the dunk was a school yard “let me try to dunk for the first time” dunk.
February 4th, 2009 at 11:07 am
Celtic Pride says:
Wow. I wonder who cared less about being there. TMAC or Ty Thomas?
February 4th, 2009 at 11:27 am
Bron42 aka Downtown Funky Stuff Malone says:
@cavs, ya it was no tmac on bradley (bless his heart lol) or the time in orlando against the lakers where he crossed kobe and banged in a reverse but it was still a statement dunk..
@SK, well that might have more to do with the fact that he jumped off the wrong leg. If your a rightie, your right leg is usually weaker and jumpin off it feels funny as shit…Plus it was sitll better than manus dunk where armstrong didn’t just till the ball was already in the air rim lol
February 4th, 2009 at 11:39 am
kevin k says:
more amazing than the dunk was the fact that he jumped with his right foot in traffic and slammed it with his left hand… he is the only player in the league that can finish with both hands consistently and in traffic. you dont see Lebron or Kobe doing that… they usually stuff it with both or their right hands…
laziness + injuries = ruined Tmac’s career.
February 4th, 2009 at 11:43 am
Bron42 aka Downtown Funky Stuff Malone says:
@kevin k, desmond mason used to do it like it was nothing…carter too…but it is rare..And u can’t blame laziness when dude busted his ass early on in orlando (before the team in general threw in the towel) and he shines in the playoffs when again (the team throws in the towel)
February 4th, 2009 at 11:58 am
karizmatic says:
Also I tihnk we have to look at where he took off from it was about a step inside the dotted. Which is a lot of distance. Granted not the old T-Mac but still an impressive dunk over Tyrus Thomas no less.
February 4th, 2009 at 12:11 pm
deeds says:
it’s nice that he banged one on Thomas, but lets be honest….he had NO lift in that dunk. He’s lucky Tryus had poor timing on the swat attempt otherwise he would have been sent back
February 4th, 2009 at 12:16 pm
Bron42 aka Downtown Funky Stuff Malone says:
@deeds, it was his wrong leg.

doc (i like kobe AND bron) says:
Im hating,he aint get up at all.He looked like fuckin Yao.The whole dunked looked like his back was hurting in the air.If thats the best T-Mac got now dunkingwise thats fucked up.He tried to tell us last year though I remember he said some shit like me and Kobe let the young cats get the dunks now we aint got the spring no more. They told Kob and he was like shit I got spring he aint got no fucking spring.T-Mac was this generation Penny,All world talent and game for about 5 years, then injuries ripped it away.

February 4th, 2009 at 12:50 pm
control says:
Decent dunk, Tmac at 60% is still pretty decent. Even though he got crammed on, you gotta give a small amount of props to Ty for manning up and going for the block instead of just “Bynuming” aka “Hockey Night in Canadaing” him, or doin the Steve Nash “Let me taste those nuts” dunk blocks.
February 4th, 2009 at 1:03 pm
the cynic says:
Yao gets more lift then that. Nice finish though

austin
tmac thats who washed up
funny how this dunk people say its nasty and manus was just ok even if manus was 1000 times nastier
February 4th, 2009 at 1:32 pm
doc (i like kobe AND bron) says:
@ian-thats what this was a Manu special from somebody taller than Manu.AKA-okay.
February 4th, 2009 at 1:32 pm
Sho-Nuff says:
Lefty dunk off one foot (Mac’s a definite two foot leaper) and his off leg in traffic aint to bad. He took off 1/2 a step from the broken circle. Not a Mac special but nice anyway.
February 4th, 2009 at 1:33 pm
LAballer says:
y’all remember when he threw it off the backboard to himself at the all star game? …man if this was back then..it wouldn’t even be news..
February 4th, 2009 at 1:45 pm
control says:
Ian
Manu’s dunks don’t get any respect because after the dunk goes in he usually superman flops himself into the crowd or does something to try and “sell” an AND1. Guy even practices his signature “superman flopdunk” in layup lines. Manu could straight out jump over someone like Vince Carter, then he’d fall on the ground and curl into the fetal position looking for a call.
February 4th, 2009 at 1:52 pm
Bron42 aka Downtown Funky Stuff Malone says:
@ian/doc…the only reason it was better than manus was a)it was on someone with actual hops b)when manu dunked, hilton wasn’t even in the pic till the end. Tyrus jumped with him from the start. Hilton armstrong jumped at manu when it was already above the rim. No one said tmac should enter another dunk contest after seein this(like ranger john tried to about manu) but it was still a nice dunk lol
February 4th, 2009 at 1:56 pm
Ian says:
bron hahaha u r the one i was waiting for this lol no way this dunk is better than manu think what u want about the man but his was nastier. this dunk was shitty and in super slow motion
control
relax i know u dont like him but the man can ball
February 4th, 2009 at 1:57 pm

bron
go utube the dunk armstrong wasnt in the pic???? what i think i like paytons and zos opinion on the dunk better.
February 4th, 2009 at 2:16 pm
kevin k says:
@ Bron42 aka Downtown Funky Stuff Malone
Carter rarely dunked on his offhand in traffic. lots of players can dunk with their offhand but not in traffic. i dont know about mason.
TMAC was a stud in the Orlando days. HE was my favorite player back then, and I thought he was better than Kobe at that time. When I say laziness, I am talking about his work ethic and the way he plays. He was amongst the best because of his superior athleticism and talent. When he lost his athleticism, he became the scrub that he is now. Look at his body in Houston days compared to Magics. He sleeps in film sessions. MJ when he was 40 played better than TMAC. Also you never see TMAC hustle or play D the way Kobe or Lebron does.

T-Mac looked at dude like he stole something!!!
February 4th, 2009 at 8:08 pm
E$ says:
Tyrus Thomas thought he could catch TMac slipping in between injury’s, but was he ever wrong. So instead of hearing cheers for the block he got the lazy eye stare from TMac. Scary.
That’s what Tmac thinks about Chicago’s 4 game win streak
