Screw the Fab 5. They didn’t win the title. Michigan previous team did! Glen Rice was on the squad.
Let’s be frank, the only thing you remember about the FAB 5 is Chris Webber timeout.

Hater 5 freshman in college back then made it to the finals and almost pulled out one of the biggest upsets in college basketball. Aside from a simple mishap they would have one. Also produced 2 H.O.F. talents and 3 pros. Shout Outs to Steve Fisher. and R.Pelinka

bruce,
name another collection of five freshman that started and made it to the national championship game, then did it again the next year. i’m waiting.
and please explore how many great college players, coaches and teams never even got to one final four.
people who understand basketball and pop culture remember the fab five as a watershed moment and movement in american sporting history. they were one of the most talented and exciting teams EVER! and they had a profound effect on the sneaker, apparel and sports marketing business.
you may only remember the timeout, which is very unfortunate, because that team gave so much more to college basketball than one mistake at the end of a great national championship game.
if you don’t understand history, at least know your basketball.
