You Don’t Mess with The Z-Bo
From last night’s Suns/Clippers euthanization, Zach Randolph lays his B-Hop game down on Louis Amundson‘s face.
Why did Z-Bo do it? From this morning’s Arizona Republic:
“Zach’s crazy,” Suns forward Matt Barnes said of Randolph, who likely will receive a multiple-game suspension before the Suns play the Clippers in Los Angeles tonight.
Randolph said he hit Amundson with an open hand and that Amundson “hopped up and got in my face, almost kissed me in my mouth.”

Homey saw what was going down…was walking towards Amundson until he saw ZBo standing over him…he put his head down and walked away. Then, when the shit went down, he turned around like “Oh no, somethings afoot!”
Amundson may be a scrub but he’s at least your team mate. If that were someone say like, Steve Nash..the whole bench woulda cleared.

Admundson took the hit and didn’t seem all that agitated…? To not want blood after that is not a good sign of toughness. Admundson gets pretty much a free pass to at least go after Zach, but opted to think about it first…I guess that is taking the high road, but Zach knocked him off that road twice…We all know Zach doesn’t have the mental faculties of a leader or example of professionalism, so it’s no shock…
I didn’t watch the game and don’t watch the Suns often, but does Admundson get into it with guys a lot? does he get under people skin? I thought he was just a great energy player…

Amundson actually took the punch pretty good, but I doubt it hurt, Zach’s arm fat slowed it down quite a bit.

That is a little strange that nobody came to his defense. But still, you guys gotta lay off Asmundson. At least he didn’t get knocked down, and when he righted himself Randolph was already surrounded by his teammates.
Also, Randolph is no pussy. If he had a full wind-up on that, there is no way Asmundson could stay on his feet. Barnes is right and I think most of the league knows that Randolph is crazy. That could be one of the reasons nobody on the Suns stepped in…
