Deron Williams Puts Marco Belinelli in the Spin Cycle
Now…Deron Williams’ 20 assist night was amazing. But what he did to Marco Belinelli on one play was down right filthy.
Deron Williams had Marco on ice skates. He kept crossing him over and over and over again. I felt so bad for ol’ boy. But to top it off..D. Will adds the spin on the end of it. Wait until the Warriors watch film, Marco won’t hear the end of it.

Marco actually played decent defense on him. He went for every fake and every cross but still recovered.

He should’ve easily picked up the steal on that play.

SJ — except the warriors don’t know how to play defense, like that rookie (AR) who “blocks” shots by putting his whole arm up through the hoop. it’s a pretty creative play, they even have a name for it: goaltending.

Mark says:
I don’t really see anything wrong with the defense. DWil caught him with the first crossover, then the defense was recovering with the rest of whatever DWil was doing.
Great first crossover, but should’ve blown past him afterwards, in my opinion.

Thats bullshit. Marco played great D, stayed wit him the whole time, and made him give up the rock. He has good handles, but didnt fool anyone there.

That’s just good defense by Belinellu and a great read from Williams when he sees help coming over. But I guess a lot of dribbling makes you guys happy…
