How can any of you say lebron deserves it because of record?…let’s bring down the meaning of mvp for those of you who are green to the sports world….

Most valuable player……player who’s team takes a huuuuuge loss both mentally and physically when that player is not out there with them. A players who’s team needs him out on the floor as much as possible to win, not somebody who can coast on the bunch for a quarter or two while mo williams boobie gibson and Z handles opponents with ease. Take lebron out the mix and the cavs are still a 3 seed at worst. Take wade off the heat and watch miami sink into the unfortuante abyss of losses they originated from. Lebron will get his award but sadly. Having the best record in the league doesn’t proove shit else to me but that ur team has gotten it. Wade has virtually nobody in his corner but fans who know wtf MVP supposed to stand for.

Last time Dwade had significant help on the court (Shaq) while being healthy at the same time; he won Finals MVP. People forget that already? 20 4th quarter points in game 3 to come back and beat the Mavs ….. ring a bell to anyone? This media love-fest with Kobe vs Lebron is a joke. Now it’s just too late to undo it. If they knew then what they knew now, we would be talking about DWade vs Kobe. Dwade got injured and the league and media moved on and tried to create another media hyped Bird vs Majic; seems liked the rushed into bad choices ….. when the best player is basketball isn’t even considered a top 2 guy. LOL.

DWade ….. straight up; the best player in the world. Man leads the Olympic team (With Kobe and Lebron)in scoring while coming of the bench??!! With fewer minutes. Coack K called him the best player on the team too. Doesn’t that make him better than Kobe or Lebron? But hey, what does coach K know about basketball players right?

The MVP has become a straight popularity contest. This trophy is becoming more and more insignificant; because EVERYONE knew it was Lebrons “turn” before the season even started. DWade has won “Player of the Month” more times this season that Kobe and Lebron combined! So why should he be Player of the Year? (MVP) This is a joke; if you folks watched the man every game you would have no doubt. Miami has starters that wouldn’t be bench players in CLE or LA. DWade is also a much better defender than both Lebron and Kobe. He is averaging more blocks per game than Lebron?!?!? Man if I was Lebron that stat would piss me off. How can a guard that is 4 inches shorter and 60 pounds lighter than him be beating him in blocks? because he plays with more heart ….. DWade is not only the MVP; he’s the best basketball player on the planet.

Wade should win it,becuase he means more to his team. For the guys who say that kobe’s stats are not up to par,please stfu! For one kobe is trusting his guys more. The difference between wade,lebron and kobe,is kobe is still putting up 28-5-5 and allowing other guys to shine. Kobe is nowhere near being selfish right now,only a fool would suggest otherwise. To the other guys who said wade’s numbers are way better,no they aren’t! Kobe plays less minutes,and still puts up great numbers. Like I said right now imo,wade is the mvp,but kobe is still the best out there. They will give it to lebron though,this is his charity year. Stern has to put something on his resume to justify the hype.

and his team is very mediocre, they won’t get 50 wins…
and he scored 50 in a 20 pt lost…
and he commits more turnovers than the other two b.i.t.s…

All I have heard all year long is how Wade is not even in the talk of the MVP conversation and how LeBron is running away with the award.

First of all let me say that LeBron is not even beating out Kobe right now. Because most of the media seem to be judging this thing off of records.

If they were going to the stats for Lebrons case over Kobe, than how on earth is Wade not dominating this race. His is dominating Lebron is every single stat category right now. …and has been all season.
Last week Lebron had that 50 point game and earlier this year he had the “almost” triple double in the Garden. Still when Wade puts up better stats last night, then Lebron had in the Garden, he still gets no love in the MVP talk as being the front runner.

Has anyone seen the week that Wade has had this past week, or is everyone just blind? This has been the best week an NBA player has had since Jordan had a week like this in his prime in the mid 90’s.

Its just silly to hear how people have Lebron over Wade, and seeing that Wade gets no love. I hope it stays that way, and so does Wade. If you haven’t heard yet, Wade said its just making him play even harder and harder. That’s a scary though with the numbers he was putting up and not playing to his fullest capabilities. You swap Lebron and Wade on each others teams.

I would be willing to bet anything that the Heat are flirting with the 8th seed to not even making the playoffs, while Cleveland would not miss a beat. Wade carries a team like no other player I have seen since Jordan. I seen a year or two like it with Kobe as well I would say. But not Shaq, Lebron, Howard, Paul, Duncan or Garnett have ever put a team on their shoulders with absolutely nobody on the team and have them in the thick of the playoff race.

Don’t be surprised to see the Heat make a run for the Finals. Wade is that determined.

First of all d-wade for MVP is my vote…but he isn’t going to win because Lebron is the “chosen one” “next jordan” “all time great”. Please give me a break espn annalysts don’t gag me anymore with your man crushes on that guy. I think Lebron is an amazing player but for god sakes look who is around him. Mo is killin’ teams when Lebron isn’t doin’ too hot. And Kobe is one of my favorite players to watch but his numbers are streaky and isn’t dropping 30 a night like Wade. Wade deserves this more than Lebron for sure. Last year was a joke if you are a Heat fan. Everyone who was one was too ashamed to say they were. He comes back and donks international play in the Olympics and now he calling out names and making teams look like college teams out there. Any man who can weave in and out of defenses and have the ability to adjust his shots (while swapping body with the defender) should most definitly be MVP. Like most have pointed out, look at his team around him! Chalmers? Beasly? O’neal? Jones? ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? Give me the chips at the bottom of the bag. Not only has he took the weight on his shoulders he has made the players around him better (significantly!). Dwayne Wade should be MVP, no doubt, but the media has a fascination with Lebron and Kobe that is just too much to shake. So while Dwayne Wade is in the shadow of Lebron and Kobe all he can say is, “Hey Lebron did you see my finals MVP trophy?” or “Hey Kobe you see my numbers this year?” or better yet say nothing and show everyone in the NBA how well he’ll do during the playoffs. Yeah I think that pretty much says it all…

for those of you who want to judge on who wins the most games then that is crazy because LBJ and Kobe clearly has a better team. i think you should go off of win % because that shows you what team has gotten better and the miami heat are clearly the most improved team in the nba. Kobe got it last year but he didnt make the lakers better cause Pau was avg the same when he played for the grizzlies and LO was a scorer for the clippers and you cant not tell me that fisher needed help from Kobe to be a good point gaurd. this year LBJ has help from Mo which is the point guard and a scorer you get two in one with Mo but D Wade dont have any of that the secound leading scorer on that team comes off the bench the point guard is a rookie and so is the coach.D Wade should be this year MVP. That is how I look at it.

when kobe was at his best two years ago he did not have the same numbers that D Wade has. Kobe only had points the rest of his stat was not that great and last year was the first year he gave a good amount of assists. D Wade is killing the stats across the board. he is hands down the MVP and the best player in the nba this year. Miami was the worst team in the nba last year and now they are #5 in the east and nobody thought that it could happen. some ppl say that D Wade is a mvp candidate now but he has been all year long his stats did not shot up over night he has been playing like this all season.
