While the rest of us have the luxury of filling out an NCAA Tournament bracket in relative peace — only having it picked apart game-by-game if somebody in your office pool is really bored — President of the United States Barack Obama (I still like typing that out in full) gets no such treatment. In the scheme of Air Force 1 Hybrid’s, these retain more of the AF1 than usual. Different from the AF1/Jordan Fusions, which are a true combination of both shoes, these Air Force 1/Huarache hybrids are dominated by the Force’s. This one’s from a couple nights ago, but we’re still in search of last night’s when one of Cleveland’s bigs (Darnell Jackson?) picks up Delonte West and holds him in his arms as LBJ snaps another shot.
Granted, Andre Iguodala‘s game-winner against the Lakers was a great shot. But is that really the shot the Sixers should be taking down two with less than five seconds? Iguodala was 0-6 from beyond the arc up to that point, and it wasn’t as though he needed to pull right away because of the clock. He had enough time and enough space to attack the rim. But sometimes, it’s better to be lucky than smart.
