James Jones’ Two 4-Point Plays In 11 Seconds
As great as it was for James Jones to score 8 points in 11 seconds, this highlight could also go in Mike Bibby‘s “Worst Of” clipreel. First he gets destroyed on a screen by Dwyane Wade, and then gets called for the chippiest foul imaginable.

Not impressed at all….the 2nd shot wasn’t even a foul on Bibby – I guess the Heat needed a spark & the refs provided

I would say that neither of the 4pt plays were fouls. The refs were horrible all night.

Not watching much of this series, due to being so damn busy in life…i follow the highlights but not the game…just wondering…Is D-Wade getting calls this playoff series?

Not seeing that second foul whatsoever!
@ 4: No, I am actually not seeing D.Wade get his calls; in fact, last night in Miami it seemed like there were a few that the refs could have given him (but did not). (Seemed on tv that fans had a loud “refs suck” chant going a few times.)
Wade has been getting most of his points on long jumpers, with a few highlight slams in earlier games. Kudos to Wade in this regard–although shot was off for most of last game (and I an not exactly his biggest fan).

no, he actually had a nice scoring game. but did absolutely NOTHING else. but if your only job is shooting the open shot you can live with that.

@4, Wade isn’t picking up his normal number of foul shots because he isn’t driving the ball. Whether it’s Atlanta’s D or his back, I can’t say for sure.

What more impressive: the two 4-point plays in 11 seconds, or the fact that David Stern can sleep @ night knowing how awful his refs are?

Did Beasley do anything last night? They really need him to be agressive offensivly to take some pressure off DWade now he’s got the bad hip!

Diego says:
Nope, Beasley doesn’t seem to be doing much, which is surprising–I thought he would be biggest threat after Wade. The rest of the Miami supporting cast generally has come through.

I know its never called, but technically I would think he travelled while setting up to shoot the first one. What’s so damn hard but planting a foot and sticking to it?
